The property was very comfortable and well-appointed. The host, Margarita, was very responsive and went above and beyond to make our stay pleasant, including reserving a taxi for us to dinner (as it is a 20-min walk to Oia) and a transfer to the airport. The property is actually located in the town of Finikia, which itself has very few shops or restaurants. While it is not terribly far from Oia, it is far enough that it is inconvenient if you just want to pick up a quick breakfast or something late-night. That being said, it is a great deal considering the same property in the heart of Oia would be 3x-4x the price. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to others.

Property was super cute and spacious. However, it’s difficult to get here on your own (especially if you don’t have a working phone). Once they know you’re there, they send someone to come grab your luggage since it’s a bumpy road you need to lift your bags. However, it doesn’t have a front desk like a hotel. While someone is very quick to respond to emails, sometimes it’s just easier if there’s a front desk to ask quick questions. It’s a 20 minute walk to Oia - as someone who’s not familiar with the area, I was under the impression the property was actually IN Oia. Not too big of a deal. Would stay here again!

15 mins walk from Oia. There’s local bus from Fira to Oia and just one stop before Oia Bus terminal, forgot the name of the stop. Then walked downstairs around 5 mins to the house. There were signs directing the location. The cave house is well decorated and stylish and clean (even though there was strong windstorm at the previous day, no sand and dust were found). All rounded amenities with air-con, open kitchen with kitchenware and utensils, hair dryer, quality shampoo and body wash. Everything you needed were there. The host is so nice and considerable. It had been a wonderful staying experience in Naftilo. Highly recommended.

I was a bit disappointed with the room(s) at first, as the space was smaller than I expected and wasn't on the caldera side of the -- so, an ocean view, but not in the main part of town. Getting to other apartment from the village parking lot was easy enough with a guide, but we got seriously turned around at night by ourselves -- pay attention when you leave, so you know how to get back! The place really grew on us, though -- away from the crowds, very quiet, quaint, cozy. We were sad to leave!

The apartment was clean, with all the necessities hairdryer, towels, tea, coffee, water and even juice. The apartment is located in finikia, a quiet area about 15mins from Oia. There are two restaurants nearby but everything else is a bit far away. The cave rooms are nice, but if you sensitive to vertigo - this apartment will give you a bit of vertigo. A bit overpriced.

If you wish to be near the fira or oia i would recommend to no stay in this location. It was at least a 30min plus drive to fira and a 10min bike to oia (not including the 10min walk from the apartment as vehicles are not allowed near the apartment) there is not much around this apartment apart from other run down houses. The apartment was clean and tidy however the bathroom was small and dark.

Spacious and private
This property was just gorgeous! We loved our stay here- the bed was super comfortable and the cave was spacious. The shower had great water pressure and there was plenty of space for our luggage and to hang our clothes. We stayed for two nights and loved the quiet Finikia has to offer in comparison with the bustle of Fira and Oia. It is a little bit of a walk to get to Oia ( about 20 mins or so) but there is a bus and it’s easy to find your way around. To get to Fira ( the main village of Santorini), you need a bus which costs 1,80€ each way per person. The bus stop is close by and there is more than one. Just be prepared to walk uphill everywhere in Santorini! Which isn’t necessarily a bad thing :) In Finikia, you have a couple of taverns to go to for lunch and dinner and they’re not too bad- Meze Meze and Fava.
