Great value and friendly service for location

The hotel was a great value for its location in Imerovigli. It is owned and operated by a family next to the villa, and they were very accommodating and helpful. Less than a 10 minute walk to the bus stop to Fira and Oia, and very safe area to walk at night.

This property is in an area with very narrow unpaved lanes with loads of construction going on.. It was ok to stay the night there, but would not recommend it for a longer stay.

Temperature of the room was on the cold side and upon requesting heat we were told how warm it is and why would we want any more heat? Breakfast was very small and every request given was denied. it includes one hard, boiled egg, toast, coffee, and a half glass of orange juice. Nothing more is included.

Apart from the stairs (which is likely a problem difficult to avoid in Santorini); the property is well positioned to offer privacy and basic amenities away from the hub-bub of "the frenetically busy caldera side"; yet is within walking distance of the village and its amenities and restaurants etc. etc. It has great sea views of it's own (in the upper apartments), friendly and helpful staff, and a perfect breakfast (fresh fruit, cereal, yoghurt, bread, eggs, ham, cheese, toast toppings, pastries, coffee & juices etc.) Some of the units have a private plunge pool, and the area around the big pool could be a bit more inviting with the use of sun shades... (perhaps we weren't there when the umbrellas were up). I'd highly recommend, especially as it has parking, if you're inclined to have your own wheels. We didn't, merely using hired transport on a needs must basis; and I believe there is also a good bus system not far away. The neighbourhood isn't perfectly tidy, but it does afford more privacy than the caldera side.

Whilst the accommodation does not face the caldera we still had a sea view (room 5) and it is a one minute walk to views over the caldera at a fraction of the price of other hotels. The staff are very accommodating and helpful. . The rooms are basic but functional and there was plenty of storage space. There isn’t a kettle in the room, so if, like us you’re big tea or coffee drinkers just take a travel kettle. Whilst not a big pool, it’s an added bonus to be able to have a dip and a cool off. We only used the sun loungers and pool area a couple of times but we hired a car, so were out and about during the days. On our day of departure we paid to keep our room on and we had retuned the hire car so the pool area came in useful then. Breakfast is fairly simple with toast/cereal/fruit/juice/tea and coffee but adequate to start the day. Imerovigli is perfectly situated. You still have good views over the caldera, plenty of good restaurants, an easy walk into Fira (30 minutes) with restaurants along the way but without the hustle and bustle of Fira so it feels very relaxed. If you want luxury then book elsewhere but all in all, I would recommend the resort and Villa Libertad and wouldn’t hesitate to book it again.

J’ai séjourné avec ma famille (2 adultes, 2 enfants) dans cet établissement pendant 3 nuits. Nous n’avons pas eu de contact en physique avec le personnel mais il était très disponible par message. L’établissement est propre et en bon état. La piscine est agréable mais malheureusement les horaires sont assez contraignants (fermeture à 17h00). La literie est confortable, il y a un petit réfrigérateur dans la chambre ce qui est très pratique et la clim fonctionnait bien. L’hôtel est bien situé. Proche Fira et Oia.

Mr Grégory et Mr panos sont très accueillants, serviables et sympathiques. Malgré que la villa n'est pas située sur la Caldera, il est très bien situé pour le levé du soleil, vue sur la mer... Situé au calme et surtout à l'abris des regards des touristes promenant sur les sentiers de la Caldera. Ils vous guideront vers les meilleurs petits restos (pas trop chers) dont la taverne de Panos. Hôtel familial

Villa Libertad est un hôtel familial de 8 chambres avec piscine. Les deux chambres supérieures vue mer sont à l'étage avec terrasse privée, la vue est côté Est, avec le lever du soleil et l'ombre l’après-midi. L'emplacement est super, restaurants et coucher de soleil sur la caldeira à 2 minutes à pied. Commerces et bus à proximité. Petit déjeuner servi sur la terrasse vue mer à l'Est. Petit réfrigérateur dans la chambre, il manque une bouilloire et / ou une machine à café. L'équipe de l'hôtel est très sympa et de bons conseils pour découvrir la région. Grands placards et coffre fort dans la chambre. L'hôtel est très bien placé, on peut aller facilement à Fira à pied par le chemin de bord de mer.

This is a very small hotels owned by a family. There are a few options to eat and a mini market within a two minute walk. The bus stop is also close by but the buses are unpredictable so we ended up taking a taxi everywhere. I would recommend renting a car if you are comfortable driving on the island. The breakfast was very simple but OK to get your day started. The room was clean and the cleaning service came every day. The pool is very small but clean. The owner speaks English and was helpful with recommendations and directions. His father is the one who is at the property all the time but speaks little English.
