"Beautiful boutique property. So private in the rainforest with a beautiful beach where we didn’t see a single person all day. The staff is wonderful and the food was delicious. They do a 3 course meal every night for dinner and a lovely breakfast every morning. The staff’s little surprises throughout our stay made it special, such as filling our tub with flower petals while we were on an excursion or setting up a private breakfast by the beach one morning. "

"Príncipe is a beautiful place. However, this hotel doesn’t offer much beyond a clean room. Food is subpar and uninteresting, activities are difficult to organize, and staff - despite being largely well-intentioned - is useless. Separately, I had a horrible time checking out. The assistant manager, despite seeing my payment confirmation, grew very hostile (I continue to think he was looking to charge me a second time in order to pocket some money).
