Very friendly and welcoming staff who recommended a great place to eat just across the plaza. Large private parking area at the back of the hotel and not visible from the street. Hotel Santa Comba
The place had AC, overlooks the old castle, had a good breakfast, and is calm and cool at night. The owners were willing to help with any of our needs. The town is small and quiet so it was a relaxing stay. Overall very nice place!

La propiedad está renovada y bien acondicionada. La zona de cocina está fantásticamente equipada. Todas las habitaciones amplias y con baño propio. Está nejor de lo que se puede ver en las fotos.

Alentejo house with pool
The property was lovely, spacious inside and out. The town of Portel was small and we found the locals to be inviting although it was obvious it is not a tourist town. We loved the entire experience of our stay!
