Convenient to metro, regional bus, train & airport
Breakfast was a very good, with some selection. Very noisy in early evening but not after 11pm.

Would not recommend. The hotel is on a noisy street, impossible to sleep. There was also no hot water in the shower. Hotel staff were nice though.

Closest comfortable hotel to bus station
The hotel is clean with comfy accommodation. It is across the street from the bus station so there is traffic noise all night. The area is not the safest however the hotel has a locked entrance and it did feel safe.

Do not stay at this hotel if you want to sleep..
AVOID THIS HOTEL IF YOU LIKE TO SLEEP. We stayed in room 201, just upstairs from reception. Two main issues: The room windows are single glazed, so every dog barking, car alarm going off is loud. Along with that you're likely staying there as you have a coach to catch, but from 6am till 12:30am the coaches are going past & as on a junction beeping horns? The room is also cold as windows are very poorly fitted... We checked 3 times to make sure they were closed before realising just big gaps between. Not only that, the hotel walkways are completely tiled and the room was 4 meters up a staircase from reception. Every noise echos really loudly. What's worse is there seems to be no hotel policy to enforce quiet after midnight. On our second night a group arrived at 3:30am to stay. They proceeded to drag suitcases upstairs, talk loudly in the hallways & slam doors. As there is no sound proofing this is right outside the door. To make things worse at 3:30 this morning (21st July) the receptionist decided to have a laugh & joke really loudly with 5 new arrivals & the whole thing echos up the stairs. Instead of encouraging quiet to respect other guests he was more interested in being entertained. WOULD AVOID AT ALL COSTS TILL THEY SORT THE SOUND PROOFING OUT. VERY POOR RESPECT FOR GUESTS.

good stay for a good price
The hotel was comfy. The air conditioner in the room was missing the remote control so it wouldn't work, but the temperature was fine without it. Room was nice and clean and so was the bathroom. Plenty of hot water. Rooms facing the street are a little noisy because of all of the bus traffic. Good location because it is only three blocks from a stop for the airport bus. Other bus stations close by as well. Only issue was breakfast doesn't start until after 7am, so you'll miss that if you have a flight before 10am.

Visited Santiago on our way to Antarctica...it's a lovely hotel, and the staff were as helpful as possible, considering they could not speak much English. Room was comfortable and breakfast was great. Location was not the best, but considering how little we paid to stay there, it's the smallest criticism of the hotel

So so neighborhood where you will get NO sleep
Yes, the hotel is not in the nicest area of Santiago, but it's near public transportation and an enormous grocery store. However, if you have a room bordering the street you will get NO sleep. I'm not a light sleeper but the noise from the street kept me up all night, even with headphones. This place needs better soundproofing to be at all adequate. If for some reason you can sleep through all the noise7, the room was nice and clean and they provide breakfast (which I did not get a chance to try)

Nice hotel for lay-over
While traveling in Chile, my husband and I had an overnight layover in Santiago. We just needed something reasonably priced and not far from the airport. The RQ Hotel is about 10 minutes away (depending on the time of day) from the airport. The hotel staff were very friendly, helpful and accommodating, even at 4:30 am. Although the building is older, our room had been remodeled and we felt we got a fair price for the comfort. The view was not impressive- looking out at several other high-rises, but it was just right for what we needed (check in, shower, sleep, leave early).

Perfectly located to Estacion de buses Santiago
This was a basic hotel, positioned well for the bus station. It was clean, quiet and did an ok breakfast. The area round about is totally dodgy, but for a family with young kids, we felt safe in the hotel, and we had easy access to our early bus

The hotel staff were lovely however the hotel is in a noisy area at night - bars and nightlife across the street. Windows dos not seal well therefore room was far from quiet. Tiny room, barely space for 2 suitcases.

Perfect for the bus station
this hotel wad a very low budget hotel. we selected this hotel because we were arriving very late and were leaving early from the bus station which is across the street. I would only recommend this hotel because it is cheap and close to bus station I would not stay for longer than one night. Breakfast was good, very basic

Room was a decent size, clean and tidy. We had the room on the road where the buses pass all the time so it was noisy. And then a car alarm kept going off. Location was perfect being right by the bus station which is why we stayed at this hotel. Breakfast was cereal, bread which can be toasted, ham, cheese, yoghurt, tea and coffee. A good selection.

This hotel has no consideration for people travelling a long journey into Santiago. They have a precise check in time of not before 3pm. Only convenient for the airport bus. Do not use this hotel. They need to be more customer friendly. Poor breakfast. Toilet does not flush. This hotel should not be allowed open. Find somewhere else. There is better, even if it means paying a little more. This hotel has let down the people of Santiago Chile. A complete disaster. Of the 150 plus hotels I have stayed at worldwide, this is the worse.

Staff was most helpful when we needed to change rooms because of drippy AC and no hot water. Neighbourhood a little sketchy. Staff does the best with what they have.

Dumpster in Santiago .
We stayed 1 night. This is a 1 star hotel in USA standards. Everything smells so bad, it stinks to high heavens. Bed cover was do old and dirty my wife immediately put it on the floor, No hot water. There is no Wi-Fi. Signal is so bad you can not login. Breakfast is a disaster. We were on the fourth floor but building has no elevator. Pictures on the web page are deceiving. STAY AWAY FROM THIS HOTEL.

Good nook in Santiago
This is not a fancy place but it's good value for the money. Rooms are clean and adequate. It can be noisy as it's very close to central bus station. It's also very close to a metro stop so you can get anywhere in the city you want by metro. It's also convenient to get to airport either by car or bus. There's offstreet guest parking and a decent breakfast included.

The hotell is close to the airport. 30-35 minutes with taxi. Close to the busterminal. The neighborhood was not so nice. We did not dare to go outside. The rom was dark colours but clean. The bathroom was nice. Free wifi was good. Breakfast ok. The room was ok for a overnight stay.

Staff are obliging but only one spoke English Rooms small but adequate for short stays-don't expect too much. Rooms have en suites. Be prepared to climb stairs with luggage by yourself. It is a budget situation. Breakfasts adequate. Location difficult to find. It is close to the IBIS Hotel, Central Bus Station which is very close to the Metro underground rail system. Location will dissapoint at first but we had no problem once we adjusted. Hotel quite old in an old location. Free WIFI We arrived at midnight but were received well We would be happy to return

This Hotel was Ok for an overnight stay close to the coach station. It's location means that front rooms are very noisy from traffic which commences at about 05.30 hrs and continues all day until late evening. The hotel itself requires refurbishing. It is old and the bedroom in the front which we occupied had not been redecorated for many years. The continental breakfast was excellent and to be highly recommended. The coach station 100mtrs away provides adequate dining at all levels at reasonable prices and baggage can be taken to the coach station by cart from the hotel. In a few minutes. If you are in transit through Santiago overnight and traveling by coach the next day then this hotel is very suitable.

We had two rooms. The windows didn't lock, nor was there a bar to use to prevent the windows from being opened from the outside. This was a problem because one of the room's window faced an interior 'patio' (which nicely had an old shoe sitting in it) which was accessible to other rooms. So, there was no security. Nor was there a room safe to keep valuables in. Also, the hotel is located a block from the main bus station of Santiago. There are lots of people walking around outside. The walls were smudged. This hotel is definitely in the not-so-nice part of town. Yet, the staff was friendly and helpful.

Value for money for a layover in Santiago
Value for money if you are looking for low cost accommodation close to metro and bus station and on the airport side of the city. We spent two nights a week apart in between flights, arriving on Nov 18 mid afternoon and leaving very early next morning and again on Nov 24 at 2 in the morning after a delayed flight, and leaving the next evening Nov 25 Staff helpful both times, we could leave luggage in a storage room on Nov 25, they arranged taxis. Access to downtown by metro was super easy. Getting to the airport without having to go through the downtown traffic jam was a cinch. For a place to stay there may be more attractive places, for a place to just put your head down at a decent price it was just right.

Pros: located One block from the main bus terminal in Santiago. Convenient for transit or overnight stay before bus travel. Good hot water. Cons: Room was very dirty. walls were filthy. Noisy due to the busses. Breakfast was terrible and we were ignored until some locals came in and they started jumping hoops for them and replenishing the empty buffet.

A comfortable, if basic, overnight in Santiago
A pleasant stay. The man at reception when I arrived at about 11pm was very efficient and helpful. The room was clean and amenities like soap and towels were stocked suffiently. The room had TV and an air conditioner and a clean bathroom and shower. Breakfast was simple but tasty, if somewhat understocked for a buffet. Checkout was quick and easy and the hotel kindly arranged a taxi back to the airport. (P. 15,000 on the way out and P10,000 on the way back (£1=700 pesos) I had some simple Spanish phrases prepared: 'I want to buy some cigarettes', 'I want to go to the airport', 'how much?' etc and a basic knowledge of some numbers, and although the staff did not speak English, we managed to communicate adequately. The hotel is located in a dubious- looking part of Santiago and the neighbourhood is quite dimly- lit, but there were families with children walking about, even at the time I arrived and it was also the case the next moring, and I had no trouble exploring the area for an hour or so before I left. I had the address printed on the Expedia confirmation and the taxi driver had no trouble finding the hotel or navigating to the airport. Certainly a good, cheap option for an overnight stay in Santiago. I had no problems and the hotel suited my needs in terms of price, ammenity and requirements.

On pulling up to the hotel the surrounding neighbourhood was reminiscent of a builders yard. The interior of the hotel was not much better. The decor appeared not to had been updated since the hotel was built and its cleanliness was a far cry to that you would expect from a lower rated hotel elsewhere. The rooms were sparse and although the bedding was clean and fresh the rest of the decor was like the rest of the hotel. The advertised wifi connection was non existant for most of my stay and of the five nights of my stay I was only able to connect to it twice and then only for a short period of time and at a speed so slow it was barely able to download my emails. The breakfast buffet was again in keeping with the rest of the hotel, sparse and disappointing. It contained very little choice other than bread rolls, cheese and ham, tea and juice. This was the same every morning. Also there was very little of it and on three mornings I came down and had obviously been preceeded by other parties as there were no bread rolls left and very little of anything else. Overall this was a very disappointing stay and although the hotel presented 3 stars on its front door I fail to see were any of them are warranted.

Serviço de atendimento. Sem elevador. Banho horrível (velho e sujo). Localização do quarto, muito ruim (do lado de uma vácuo, um buraco, um vazio) do prédio. Um barulho intermitente que deve ser do gerador elétrico. O quarto sem armário (somente um quarto tinha). Café da manhã (horrível), e com pouca quantidade de leite, pro exemplo. sem cadeira no quaro, sem mesa no quaro (e esses dois itens estavam na foto do site do hotel e confirmados na hora de pagar. Localização péssima. Minha amiga foi roubada ali do lado, levaram bolsa, carteira, celular e todos os documentos. Políciamento ausente..

Hotel situado a cinco minutos de la estación de autobuses con destinos nacionales e internacionales. La habitación daba a la calle muy transitada de vehiculos y por ende muy ruidosa. El desayuno aceptable pero con poca variedad. El personal de recepción y servicio muy amable y atento con una sola excepcion. El hotel necesita insonorizar las habitaciones que dan a la calle.
