The owner really cares about her guests and wants to help and gives great advice about the local area. Great price too! Couldn't fault it. "

"Everything about this house was excellent. It’s brand new, spotless, very comfortable, and in a great location. The host was always available and helpful, which made the stay even better. If I could suggest anything, it would be nice to have a little printed guide with instructions on how to use some of the house features — for example, how to turn on the hot water system (since it’s not the same as what most Americans are used to), or where the switches are for the lights and fan in the backyard area. Also maybe a short note about nearby conveniences would be a nice touch. Overall though, this place is fantastic. Spacious, modern, and very well taken care of. I’d definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone."

"The panoramic cabin is a basic shed with rudimentary electricity and plumbing. It’s more like camping with an outhouse included. There are gaps in the clapboard siding walls you can see through. It’s sold as rustic but it’s barely inhabitable. On the positive side the family that runs it were gracious and kind people. They were helpful and offered assistance in going into town. There recommendations to go to El Congo made our stop in Lake Coatepaque a wonderful memory point. Possibly the other rooms offer a better experience. "
