"The rooms shown in the pictures was not what we were given, it was outdated and did not have a view of the ocean; the showers would not drain so we would have to turn off the showers in the middle so we wouldn’t be standing in a puddle; the walls are paper thin and we could hear every bang and conversation of our neighbours; to top it off the host was harrasing us over 12€ as the link he sent to pay wasn’t working; avoid avoid avoid!!!"

"The location of this hotel was very quiet and private - not much around but that is what we wanted. There was one really good restaurant walking distance to the hotel that had beautiful sunset views. The beach is about a 10-15 min walk from hotel and they also provide a shuttle to the beach. The beach had white sand and beautiful turquoise water. You can have food and drinks at the beach club but if you want to sit at the lounge chairs and use the beach club pool you pay $30 per- person which seems a bit silly when the beach and the pools up at the hotel are free. There was a dj and live singer each night at the hotel providing a lovely ambiance. The hotel has amazing views of the sunset. The pools are both very nice - one is adults only. The drive into the town of Santa Teresa isn’t far but it is up winding roads. The concierge helped us make a dinner reservation at a nearby Agriturismo which was an excellent experience. Hotel room was very nice - clean and bed was comfortable."

"Lovely hotel with a good price. This is a great place to stay that has direct beach access and beautiful views. The buffet breakfast is amazing and the restaurant has a beautiful view of the water. The female front desk clerk was terrific and went out of her way to accommodate us, even offering a packed breakfast since we were leaving before the buffet opened. The rooms were spacious and very nice with a comfortable bed and nice bathroom. The odd thing was the infinity pool next to the restaurant that we were told was not a pool and we could not even dip our feet in it. Meanwhile there were children playing in the water...? Other than that it was a great stay."

"Staff communication was great, I had some issues with after hours check in and they supported me. The check in desk is as at a separate location which is good to note as I was surprised. Very basic property that gets very hot (no AC). There was no wifi which I didn’t think to check in the listing as it’s usually included so an fyi but it is in a great location, street parking near by and walking distance to the centre!"

"We had a lovely stay at Luma Relais de Charme. Sonia and the staff we welcoming and always helpful. The check-in process was simple, we even enjoyed a room upgrade to have a nice large balcony. The continental breakfast was delicious everyday with attentive servers. The room was clean with a very comfortable bed. The hotel was located centrally with quick and easy access to the beach, restaurants and local attractions! Thank you!!"

"Great accomodation. Friendly staff. Awesome breakfasts. Room cleaning immaculate. Location is fantastic too, close to the coach park, to the main centre and about 10 minutes walk to the beach. My only one criticism is that the hotel amenities state "guest access to outdoor pool" but this is not the case and so Expedia is misleading. There is no access to a pool. There is a private club pool I found about 10 minutes walk away which was great but you have to pay club membership and then about €15 per day for using the pool. My only 2 hotel requirements and search filters were room air conditioning and swimming pool, so a bit disappointing. That said, it's a great wee hotel."
