"Our family loved this hotel for its colonial charm, walkability to the center of town and to various restaurants and coffee shops. There is a great restaurant that is associated with the hotel that also served a great breakfast. The pool was refreshing. The front desk staff was very helpful in recommending activities. Great laundry service. The room was a nice respite from the heat and with good air conditioning. If you want to see the lively local market, there are a number of vendors only a block down where the locals shop. "

"This hotel is truly a hidden gem with absolutely breathtaking views of Lake Apoyo, with a stunning volcano rising in the background that makes the scenery even more unforgettable. Waking up to that view alone is worth the stay. The hotel is intimate, with only five rooms, so it never feels crowded and offers a very peaceful, private atmosphere. The rooms are amazing—spacious, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed—with beautifully crafted bathrooms that feel luxurious and serene. The pool area is spotless and offers incredible views of the lake and volcano, making it the perfect place to unwind. One of the highlights is the peaceful waterfall, which adds a calming atmosphere and makes it easy to relax and recharge. The staff is friendly and welcoming, making the stay even more enjoyable, and parking is easy and convenient. As for dining, the menu offers a decent variety of options. While dinner didn’t quite meet expectations, breakfast was absolutely amazing and definitely a highlight of the stay. If you’re looking for a place to disconnect, relax, and fully take in nature’s beauty, this hotel is an exceptional choice."

"Our room (Room 1) was clean and generously spacious with a private outside seating area. The bed was comfortable and the air con worked well. The communal areas of the property are very lovely and well-kept. The lady who cooked breakfast was very pleasant. We enjoyed our stay here and would happily recommend. However, a couple of things to note - only by chance did we ask if it was ok to leave the car on the street overnight and we were strongly advised not to. It would have been far more helpful to have been given that advice at check-in with instructions where to park. The other point - well in advance of our stay I had booked a tour through the hotel for 4.10 on our date of arrival and the tour had been confirmed by the hotel. However, our guide did not show and we were told he was coming - in 5 to 10 mins, maybe 15 and we lost faith anyone would come so we then had to make other arrangements but no apology was offered."

"The Breakfast was good they only have two types of breakfast when is included in the room it was good. The air conditioning was perfect specially with the heat it cool the room fast. The only thing there was no hot water and they should change the shower head not much water comes out."
