"We stayed 3 nights in the "casa grande" associated with the Galapagos Pearl Hotel and could not have been more pleased. The casa has 2 bedrooms, a small kitchen, one bathroom, and is conveniently located right next to the pool and the outdoor dining area where Yolanda serves breakfast. Your room is cleaned every day. The garden surrounding the pool and casa is lush and full of geckos, cats, and beautiful plantings. Yolanda is from the Galapagos, she is a wonderful host and her daughter helped us...

Once we were there she offered to arrange tours, suggest dining places and made reservations for us. She did everything she could to make our stay easy and enjoyable. "We enjoyed our 6-night stay at Ariana's. The apartment was large and comfortable. Bedroom air conditioners were whisper quiet. We especially enjoyed the rooftop terrace with its soft breezes. It’s a 20 minute walk to the big tortoise statue and a few minutes more to the Mlecon, or a 2 taxi ride."

"We had a very nice time staying at Torre Mar. It was very conveniently located. We were 5 families...me (the mom) and my 4 kids, their spouses and 6 grandkids. Everyone had their own "suite". The advertising is a little confusing. I thought we were renting a "home", and then realized it was an apartment/hotel....but as I said, it was very nice for each family to have private space. The owner John was very friendly, although we did have some miscommunication issues, which is interesting...
