Guests staying in WaterColor will have access to the newly expanded WaterColor Beach Club. It features a new main pool and lounge area, second pool deck with additional lounge seating, and third pool with zero-entry, as well an enhanced WaterColor Grill, and new sunset bar, Costa Chica. All have scenic views of the Gulf of Mexico.

DETAILS: By the Sea is a lovely 4-bedroom, 4.5-bathroom WaterColor beach cottage, and Carriage House that sleeps 8 in the Forest District. Guests will enjoy a private pool, a large screened porch, thoughtfully designed interiors, 2 primary bedrooms, and the convenience of a 4-seater Low-Speed Vehicle.

A deep front porch with rocking chairs welcomes guests to 4 By the Sea. Stepping inside, guests will find an open kitchen, living, and dining area with a high vaulted ceiling, crisp shiplap walls, and dramatic details like a tall wooden wine rack and stone fireplace. A peaceful primary bedroom with a king bed enjoys wooded views from a trio of windows. The private bathroom has a soaking tub, double vanity, and separate shower. A chef’s kitchen has marble countertops, a dine-in island that seats 3, premium appliances, and a 5-burner gas cooktop. An adjacent dining table seats 8 and enjoys views of the front porch through a double pair of French doors. A wrap-around sofa and cozy chairs surround a stone fireplace and flat-screen TV. Past the kitchen is space to stash beach bags and toys before entering a large screened porch or walking directly out onto the pool deck. The screened porch has a bed swing and cushioned wicker chairs that overlook the pool and enjoy the sounds of the pool’s cascading waterfall fountain. String lights line a pergola that runs along the pool. Chaise lounge chairs provide a place to soak up the sun, and a propane grill is a perfect place to cook lunch.

At the second-floor stair landing is a space to work and relax with a wrap-around desk, a chaise sofa, and a flat-screen TV. A second primary bedroom is off this living space and includes a king bed facing a wonderful window seat, a large walk-in closet, a private bathroom with a soaking tub, and a glass-enclosed shower with a built-in bench.

A pergola along the pool deck leads to the stairs for the Carriage House. Inside, a comfortable open space combines a guest bedroom with a living, dining, and kitchen area. A private bathroom has a shower and is adjacent to a queen bed that faces 2 armchairs and a flat-screen TV. A dining table for 2 and a fully stocked kitchen with electric burners enjoy natural light from French doors that open to a petite balcony.
