You'll be a short stroll from the gorgeous white sand beach at Redfish Cottage and you'll have wonderful access to the surrounding beauties of Santa Rosa Beach and Scenic Highway 30A. This home features two levels of porch space and fantastic amenities at the Old Florida Cottages that include an outdoor swimming pool, a spacious lanai, and a grilling area. The kitchen has been recently renovated with a new stovetop and there is new flooring throughout the main living space.

This home enjoys an ideal, central location in Santa Rosa Beach, with the beach a few blocks south (offering lifeguards and plentiful parking) and the many shops, restaurants, and outdoor events of Gulf Place Town Center half a mile west. Take your pick of Goatfeathers, La Playa, Perfect Pig, and Sunrise Coffee Shop within walking distance, or hop on a bike (four free rentals are provided in season) to explore roughly 18 miles of paths to various beaches and coastal dune lakes.

Amazing Condo

Great stay

This house was perfect for us. We loved the patio and dining nook, and the proximity to the beach just can’t be beat. Only complaint was that we weren’t left enough dishwasher detergent to run the dishwasher as often as we needed, so we ended up hand washing our dishes a lot.

Great location

This home was a very short walk to the beach and close to many amenities . The furniture appears to have been recently updated. A previous review mentioned there was a lack of storage for cloths which was also resolved. We would definitely stay here again!

Very nice

Pros: Perfect size. Great location. Close enough to the beach, the wagon really helps with the short walk in carrying beach gear. Close to the pool. Outside shower. A hammock on one porch. Right behind Goatfeather restaurant (if you don't want to cook) and fish market (if you do want to cook). Lots of great books around. Cons: The house shakes when you wash clothes... a little unsettling. Palm trees outside the open porch make it so dirty it's really unusable. No grill. Bicycles were offered, but it was impossible to get in touch with anyone to make them usable. All in all a good vacation home for a family of 4.

Good location/beach access, but

The beds and pillows were unbearable. No one slept well the entire stay and my youngest woke one morning screaming with a crick in his neck from the flat and uncomfortable pillows. The full size bed is sunken in there middle and there were no comfortable pillows at all. There were no extra blankets for the beds and the ones ok the beds were so thin it was like not even having anything. A few of the towels had dead bugs in them. The paper towels and toilet paper was so thin it was almost like having nothing at all. There was no a sheet set for the pull out sofa bed either. Overall the only thing I liked about the property was that it was walkable to beach.

Vacation with Toddlers

The location of this home was spot on. It was a very easy walk to the beach, food and stores. The home was very well maintained and we had all we needed. The community pool was just steps away as well. For those vacationing with small children, we can't say enough about the location - location - location! We will return.

luxurious beach vacation

We had the most wonderful stay at Red Fish Cottage! There were 4 adults and two kids. The adults got bedrooms, each with a private balcony, and the kiddos slept on a pullout couch which was specially outfitted with the most comfortable mattress! The fully renovated Kitchen was beautiful and functional, with lots of storage, new appliances and flooring. The pool and beach were each just a couple minutes walk from the condo. Floaties, boogie boards, sun umbrellas, sand toys, beach chairs etc. were all provided as was a blender which allowed for a true pina-colada fueled beach vacation!! We can't wait to return!

Perfect beach house

Our family of 4 stayed here for a few short days, and it was wonderful. The house was beautiful, spacious, updated and a very short walking distance to the beautiful beach at gulf view heights. The house had everything we needed, beach chairs, a beach cart to carry everything, sand toys, and many other beach accessories. The beds were comfortable, nice bedding and linens, nice towels, and the host company, vacasa very accommodating and available anytime we had questions. Check in was easy, as was checking out. We had a great time and plan to return next year!
