"Our group of 4 couples and several children really enjoyed our stay. Overall it was great. We were bummed that the bikes were in pretty bad disrepair so we were not able to use them, but we quickly realized that we didn't need them as walking and driving was the best way to get around. The access to the beach was great, the grounds were beautiful, and the pool was perfect. We had monkeys playing in the trees surrounding the properties almost every day. It was super hot when we were there so the air conditioning struggled to keep it as cool as we would have liked, but not much you can do about that. The rooms got nice and cool at night so that was great. Paul was a great host and the property managers were communicative and helpful. We look forward to hopefully visiting again - maybe during the wet season when it's not so hot and dry."

"Excellent location. Other reviews are accurate. However, There are two locations for this hotel. one is near the main road - that is where the pool is and it is a small pool so we didn't end up using it. Our room was on the second floor overlooking the beach area which was as advertised. Excellent breakfast included. Staff were great. It is a small town so easy access to everything."

"We had a wonderful time in Viilla #8. The staff were friendly, the property was well kept, the rooms were clean and had everything we needed to be able to cook in the villa. The beach and stores were in walking distance (great location!). We loved our outdoor space, where we ate, read on the hammock or hung out in the sitting area. Thank you! El personal fue amable, la propiedad estaba bien cuidada, las habitaciones estaban limpias y tenían todo lo que necesitábamos para poder cocinar en la villa. La playa y las tiendas estaban a poca distancia a pie (¡ubicación excelente!). "There are honestly not enough words to be able to express how extraordinary this trip was for our family. The location is extraordinary. Ana and Freddie are the most amazing caretakers. They truly felt like our family by the end of the trip. The food that Ana cooked was spectacular. Our pickiest young eaters ate food they had never tried before and loved it. It almost felt like we were on a health trip because of how high-quality and delicious the meals were. The pool was a breathtaking view over the pacific, and the sunrises and sunsets could not be beat. We try to go someplace new every year for spring break, but it’s going to be hard not to just keep returning to this location. I’m almost afraid to recommend it too highly because I’m afraid it will always be booked and we won’t be able to return. A million stars. "
