"The rooms shown in the pictures was not what we were given, it was outdated and did not have a view of the ocean; the showers would not drain so we would have to turn off the showers in the middle so we wouldn’t be standing in a puddle; the walls are paper thin and we could hear every bang and conversation of our neighbours; to top it off the host was harrasing us over 12€ as the link he sent to pay wasn’t working; avoid avoid avoid!!!"

"The location of this hotel was very quiet and private - not much around but that is what we wanted. There was one really good restaurant walking distance to the hotel that had beautiful sunset views. The beach is about a 10-15 min walk from hotel and they also provide a shuttle to the beach. The beach had white sand and beautiful turquoise water. You can have food and drinks at the beach club but if you want to sit at the lounge chairs and use the beach club pool you pay $30 per- person which seems a bit silly when the beach and the pools up at the hotel are free. There was a dj and live singer each night at the hotel providing a lovely ambiance. The hotel has amazing views of the sunset. The pools are both very nice - one is adults only. The drive into the town of Santa Teresa isn’t far but it is up winding roads. The concierge helped us make a dinner reservation at a nearby Agriturismo which was an excellent experience. Hotel room was very nice - clean and bed was comfortable."

That being said, the hotel itself is definitely showing its age and could really use a refresh and some modern updates in the rooms. "Lovely hotel with a good price. This is a great place to stay that has direct beach access and beautiful views. The buffet breakfast is amazing and the restaurant has a beautiful view of the water. The female front desk clerk was terrific and went out of her way to accommodate us, even offering a packed breakfast since we were leaving before the buffet opened. The rooms were spacious and very nice with a comfortable bed and nice bathroom. The odd thing was the infinity pool next to the restaurant that we were told was not a pool and we could not even dip our feet in it. Meanwhile there were children playing in the water...? Other than that it was a great stay."

"Overall, we had a lovely stay at Pedra Santa. Its biggest advantage is definitely the location—it’s excellent and makes it easy to explore Costa Smeralda. Sardinia is absolutely stunning, and with gorgeous weather every day, it was hard not to enjoy ourselves. The hotel restaurant is very good, with delicious food and an amazing sunset view that made dinner feel extra special. The staff was friendly and welcoming throughout our stay. There were, however, a few areas that could be improved. On the evening we were getting ready to go to Phi Beach, we asked for an iron. Surprisingly, the staff couldn’t find one anywhere on the property. At first, I was told they only had one, then another staff member said they had several, but they were all “missing.” It was frustrating, especially when trying to get ready for dinner. I also sent two emails before our arrival with a simple request, but never received a reply. In those emails, I mentioned that I’m a travel content creator and kindly asked if it would be possible to have a room with some sort of view, as I planned to feature the hotel on my social media. Unfortunately, we were assigned a room overlooking nothing but bushes. That said, these issues didn’t have a major impact on our overall trip. Sardinia is an incredible destination, the hotel’s location is fantastic, and we still had a wonderful vacation. With a little more attention to guest communication and consistency in service, this hotel could easily provide an even be"
