"Excellent hotel for an overnighter on a journey through Spain/Portugal"

"Value for money. Suitable for a stop over or a quick trip. The room was spacious and had plenty of plug sockets with a TV. But the toilet flush was broken and so was the shower head tube. Quick response from host when we had questions. Was a bit misled with parking as there is actually no on site parking, just street parking (most of which isn’t free)"

"Incredibly clean room! Enjoyed having truly hot water for my shower. Easy to access and a short walk to the historic downtown. Could clearly hear the loud electronic beeps from people pressing five digit access codes into the key pads to get into the rooms near mine. (Bring some earplugs if that might wake you up.)"

The landlord/receptionist did not even have a desk so we had to wait outside before we could enter the so-called hotel, which turned out to be a very small apartment with tiny rooms. The racism that we faced yesterday night (my cousins and I) was immense. We did not feel safe at all in the apartment. She was Islamophobic and xenophobic; she proceeded to insult me personally, because of my religion (I wear the hijab) and my origins. Other than not feeling safe, I was...

"Check in is a nightmare. 3 flights of stairs , no elevator. Didn’t receive code to check in till 7pm night of check in. Check in times are 12 noon to 2 pm, 630pm to 9pm. Ended up booking hotel across Plaza. Hotels. com should highlight absurd check in and no elevator. "
