"It is a beautiful hotel with unique decor and a peaceful, isolated setting that is perfect for relaxing. The staff were kind. The restaurant food was average compared to what you can find in Oaxaca. However, the hotel could be more thorough with its cleaning, as our room was quite dusty."

"It’s was fantastic and I hope this family all the best. We stayed when they had just opened but they did not charge us correctly (over charged) and there was no water NO water in our second room. All in all though they were very friendly and after all it is Mexico - so go with the flow."

"The pictures looked great, the rooms did not match the pictures. One room was pretty musty and dark. The room we stayed in had no hot water in the shower and it took 3 days to fix. They offered to change the room but that room had steep stairs to get to single bedroom down stairs and we had paid ..."
