Excellent location and great value. Rooms are small with basic furnishings but beds were good quality and everything was clean and working. The bathroom was tiny and could do with more hooks/shelves but there was plenty hot water and fresh towels. There are no tea/coffee facilities in the room and this had to be bought if you wanted a cuppa out with breakfast hours. Breakfast had a hot and cold buffet which had a good choice. We went half board because the extra cost was so minimal - worth it If you’re on a budget but not if you’re fussy. We stayed in Horitzo but had to cross to Sol for meals. Unlike other reviewers ours was served in the main dining room but this could be because the downstairs dining room appeared to be in use for a karate convention. We used the airport transfer bus which took two hours and many stops. It drops you on the main road and Horitzo is a 2 minute walk but take directions as the driver gives you none.

Fabulous location, especially if you had a balcony overlooking the beach, like me. I only had the breakfast which i paid for, it was 8 euros and well worth it. The bedrooms and facilities were very clean and the beds were very comfortable, the best sleep I have had in years. I will definitely be booking again.

Do not stay at this hotel! One of the rooms issued to our party had bed bugs. This wasn't spotted until the next morning and the individual was covered in bites. When it was brought to the attention of the manager she was aggressive, unsympathetic and said that we had picked them up at the airport. Another room was provided but no apology.

This hotel is right on the beach, which means that you can easily go back in to use toilets and showers, which I found really useful. Unfortunately the pictures on this ads are mostly for the sister establishment, JS Picafort. JS Horitzo in fact is much smaller. When I arrived there was sand on the floor and one of my towels had stains, which is my main issue with this property. Other than that, my room was quite small, didn't have privacy curtains, which was a problem as the balcony was about 3m away from the next building. While getting changed I had to drew the blackout curtains to avoid giving a show. Most of the facilities are also in the other hotel. Breakfast is served in the hotel next door. The pool is a couple of streets away. I don't know where the spa is as I couldn't find it. All of this is not a big issue, but I feel the ad should make it clearer. Overall a pleasant stay, aside for the cleanness, which got sorted after the first day.

Booked into JS Horitzo but was given a room in its sister hotel JS Can Picafort, just across the street. Hotel is very clean, staff are friendly and efficient. The location is excellent, hotel is right on the beach. Downsides: I was half board but the food wasn't great and the toiletries, in my room weren't replenished at all during my stay.
