"We enjoyed our stay at Moody Gardens Hotel. Everything went well. The only complaint was the staff cleaning the rooms in the morning were very loud. They would yell at each other giving instructions on room cleaning. That happened on our last day ."

"Great place for the price. Cleaner hotel room than most I’ve stayed in the past few years. Definitely a bit dated, but comfortable room and great staff. Only downside is it is a bit outside of the main attractions of Galveston, but with Uber and public transit options, it is a nice trade for a quiet place."

"I knew I wasn’t going to a 5 star hotel but I was expecting a little bit more. The room was heavy with a disinfectant smell. AC was loud and didn’t work very well. The pool area was I need of sweeping and general cleaning. It was mostly the smell in the room. "

"This was by far my favorite hotel we’ve ever stayed in for kids. Water park is awesome, amenities are so convenient, beds are clean and soft. Only complaint is the thin walls, could hear our neighbors very loud class until 1am. Would absolutely stay here again."

"Only reason I’m giving one star is because zero is not an option. The staff at the front desk was rude. There were two tvs in the room, one wouldn’t change channels and the other had no volume. The shower was barely a trickle and the room just smelled bad. Certainly not what I expected for a $200 a night room needless to say we won’t be back."
