Your Historic Santa Fe Retreat: Designed and Built by a Retired Architect
Immerse yourself in Santa Fe's rich history at this adobe studio, thoughtfully designed and constructed in 2008. As a retired architect and builder, I personally oversaw the design and renovation, respecting the original adobe walls of the 1936 structure to preserve its authentic character.

Conveniently located in the historic Guadalupe district, part of downtown Santa Fe, this inviting studio offers a unique experience just six blocks from the historic Santa Fe Plaza. As you enter, please note the two steps down that lead you into your private space.

Design and Authenticity: Diamond-plastered walls and solid wood floors reflect traditional New Mexican craftsmanship, seamlessly blending with the studio's historic roots.
Fully Equipped Kitchenette: Prepare your favorite meals with ease. The kitchenette includes an electric oven, electric cooktop, electric panini press, electric pans, a small refrigerator, electric toaster, coffee machine, and microwave.
Dining and Lounge: A small table with chairs for two and a Le Corbusier lounge chair invite you to relax after a day of exploring.
Entertainment & Connectivity: Stay connected with high-speed internet and enjoy your favorite shows on the flat-screen TV.
Your Private Outdoor Courtyard
Step outside to your private, fully enclosed, and gated courtyard. This peaceful space is perfect for enjoying Santa Fe's beautiful weather, with alfresco dining and an outdoor sitting area. If you're in the mood for a BBQ, just request the grill 24 hours in advance. Plus, you'll have convenient backyard gate access to the Vargas Mall.

Walking to plaza, railyard, canyon art walk. Many fantastic restaurants. Great neighborhood with security. We were able to park inside the security gate which is an available option if the other property rental is not occupied. Highly recommend staying here!

A Quick Getaway!

We loved staying there! The studio is a beautifully spruced-up old adobe structure that was very cozy and comfortable. All you need for such a close proximity to the plaza and all it has to offer.

Great Stay!

Our stay at West Guadalupe was wonderful! The studio was clean and comfortable. It had a private little courtyard and was stocked with all necessary amenities. The location was so close to everything - less than 5 minutes by car! The host, Veronica, was very kind and helpful. She responded quickly to our messages and gave great tips for the area. We would definitely stay here again!

Gem of a spot, great location and wonderful host!

This is a quiet, adorable, homey and beautifully decorated studio with beautiful touches, a lovely little patio, super peaceful surroundings and all the amenities you could need. The location couldn’t be better and it was the perfect spot for my husband and I. Host was so kind and responsive when we had an issue with the door lock and it was fixed and taken care of in the blink of an eye. Would absolutely stay again!

Beautiful sanctuary close to downtown

I loved the amazing feeling of feeling like I was in a sanctuary while being a very quick walk to downtown. I stayed for 4 days without a car, and walked everywhere needed. The location was perfect for this. I loved how quiet the location was. I was able to meet Veronica and she is very kind, generous, and accommodating. this is also how I learned about the history of the property (with the roots intact and also modernized), and her background. Everything in the space has been given very intentional thought for a special experience. It's also rooted enough to feel like a home away from home. I will definitely stay again when I return to the enchanted land! Thank you, Veronica, for such a special place to be part of my experiences in Santa Fe!

A very comfortable property, although a little dark inside. Parking is problematic! Fortunately, our vehicle is not large. Turning around on the dead end street could be a challenge for a larger vehicle.
