About this property
Historic Downtown Adobe Apartment near everything you want
FIRST VRBO LISTING IN SANTA FE! Available also on a monthly basis. The price is pretty steady throughout the year, and it's the best deal downtown for the price. I'm a real estate broker with my own company. Se habla espanol, si parla italiano. Charming, historic furnished adobe apartment downtown, about 7/10ths of a mile to the Santa Fe Plaza. The apartment has a combo living/bedroom with separate kitchen and bath. It includes Xfiniti wifi with their streaming service, ample storage, linens, towels, work desk, loads of information about our area. It is walking distance to the Plaza, DeVargas Mall, the highway north and south, restaurants, museums, galleries, public transportation. This is half of a duplex. There is a large enclosed back yard shared with the adjoining neighbor. The apartment has a combo living/bedroom with a queen bed and an Ethan Allen sofa bed. It has all the equipment you need in the kitchen, including a washer and dryer.. There is a flat screen tv. The house is off the street 100 feet, where you get your own parking space to the right, not visible from the street. The apartment is one mile from our famous dog park. Most pets are allowed. A cat must not go in the back yard. YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE SAFETY OF YOUR PETS! Please let me know what animals you are bringing, the names of other guests coming with you, and your approximate arrival and departure times. Relax on the front or back porches and enjoy the shade in the front in the summer. This building was constructed in 1908 and is a remodeled historic double adobe. It was a wedding present to Minnie Barela at that time. It has hardwood and tile floors and a tile bath. The heat is gas baseboard. There is art from local artists on the walls and other Santa Fe touches. There are extra linens and blankets for the bed and the sofa bed. There is a window unit AC, seldom used, fans, and extra space heaters. No smoking is allowed on the premises. I aim to please so your comfort comes first.

This place was adorable! So cute and beautifully decorated and had everything we needed for a great stay -- kitchen and bathroom were both robustly outfitted so we didn't need anything. We loved the neighborhood too -- great for walking our little dog. We couldn't have asked for more.
I’d say, everything from communication to location was great. It had a nice backyard for dogs. However, in our two nights stay, we probably killed more than 30 flies. They were all over the place and that was very annoying.
We had a great stay here with our dogs. It was clean and well stocked. The directions to get to the house were easy to follow as we're all of the entry instructions and house procedures. Our stay was great and Janet is very responsive as a host. Thank you! We'll be back!
Beautiful property that was very well maintained. My wife loved the decor and the location was close to everything. We would so do that again. Excllent experience.
Had a great overnight stay with partner, family, and our cats. Great and friendly communication with owner. Would highly recommend for 1-3 people total and a pet or two.
This is the place to stay in Santa Fe! The property is conveniently located within walking distance to downtown, the Railyard District, and even a box store shopping area. The kitchen is well stocked, the bed is very comfortable, and the fully fenced in yard is perfect for dogs! Easy to park as well. On top of all this, Janet is a wonderful, thoughtful host! Would recommend this place to anyone visiting Santa Fe!
This property had everything we needed - plenty of towels, comfortable bed, and parking. Our host was quick to respond, and she even proactively provided turn by turn directions.
Our favorite part was the location - we were less than 3/4 of a mile to Sazon for walking to dinner, and easy walking to all of the main attractions.
We had a very nice stay here. We were able to walk into town and or drive to all the locations we wanted to visit. The home was well appointed and cozy. I would recommend this highly.
Dog Friendly Apartment in Historic Santa Fe District
This was an older apartment in an historic district of Santa Fe. The neighborhood is within walking distance to the central plaza in downtown. The house was older and has fewer amenities than some of the high end Vrbo properties but was clean and well provisioned with an enclosed backyard for our pup. We were also located near an awesome dog park which allows all dog to be off leash and has many wooded trails.
Perfect place to stay if you want to be able to walk to the plaza, and want to bring your fur baby
This is the perfect place to stay if you want easy access to the Plaza. What makes it even better is that it's pet friendly. Very quiet neighborhood and within walking distance to the Plaza. The accommodations are nice. Great for 2 people, 4 would be a stretch. Would definitely book again.
