"Excellent location across from Uxmal ruins. Very interesting history of the Hacienda as well, including famous people such as Queen Elizabeth who stayed there! Breakfast was delicious and

cocktails were also great. Grounds are beautiful and filled with colorful birds. Staff was accommodating. Don't expect uber modern luxury."

"Clean and lovely, in beautiful jungle setting, just minutes from Uxmal ruins. Restaurant/bar on-site is only option for food if you don't have a car, but the service and food were great. We asked for rooms away from the main check-in (it's closer to the road and less private), and though they'd already assigned us 3 rooms, they were happy to accommodate, and changed us to another building. Pools are fabulous--a treat after a day at the ruins."

"Comfortable large units with two double beds. Great breakfast included but dinner was simple with few choices. Limited restaurants in the town. Communication was limited--no map of area and no receipt for cash payment. Walked on short trail that had no signage or map and ran into what looked like an old Mayan stone house."
