Clean and comfy beds, free breakfast. Nothing fancy but I didnt need anything fancy, just a place to sleep. Check in was easy and employee was very friendly. I also really liked that the bathroom window opened to let in the fresh forest air.

Dirty gross property and rooms with other people’s pubic hair around room and sink. Management clearly cuts corners on cleaning and maintenance. Shower head still broken after two months. This place is a total dump! Completely dishonest management, they will charged your card three time your reservation cost immediately and then add unauthorized fees while taking days to return hundreds of dollar’s, Do not use a debit card. They don’t have breakfast, only coffee and rancid orange juice cause their cheap, then they lie about it, give me a break, you can get oatmeal and bread for toast a block away at the store. Dishonest management will scam you out of money! Ef this place !

Comfy and mostly quiet
Relatively peaceful stay. Check in was easy. The sheets were clean though visibly stained. The staff woke us up at 7am yelling outside the window. The blankets were not warm enough for the 30s F weather which is not horrible since there is a heater. However would be more comfortable with thicker materials at least being available in the closet if not on the bed. Office friendly on the phone though in person they glared at us until we greeted them. 4 star stay. All these things are the reasons why it wasn't 5 stars.

This place is a dump. Outside stairs and area filthy. Really bare bones room with just one lamp and no desk type surface. Breakfast is a joke. The only thing hot available is toast or instant oatmeal. We'd have been better off at a motel 6 and not spent $300!

Nice location near Santa Cruz but hotel is a little dated. Towels are worn thin. One drawer door in room 202 didn't stay closed.

Mold stains in sills, shower rod held together with blue painters tape, clear packing tape over hole in bathroom door, dirty walls with some sections of missing drywall. The most concerning issue was the extremely unpleasant smell that we could not place. It permeated the entire room and all the towels, though was not in the bed sheets. Some sort of cleaner? Never smelled anything like it. You’ll be disappointed. Zero stars, do not recommend.

For the money it was well worth it, there is only one nice restaurant in town, but within walking distance, and very good, called the Auora. The rooms could use some updates. Overall we would stay there again.

We paid over $250 a night for a hotel that makes motel 6 look like a luxury suite. The swimming pool had a green ring around the perimeter, the window in our bathroom was broken and would not close (we were on the ground floor & the bathroom window could easily fit a human body through it), the hotel room smelled like funk, carpets & bed panels stained, ripped curtains, dirty walls, and floor boards. I have been using Expedia for years and have not experienced a misrepresentation of this magnitude.

Please do yourself a favor and stay anywhere but here. The photos Expedia has published for this property are wildly misleading. The rooms are in terrible shape. The carpets are stained, the curtains have holes, the shower curtains are falling off the wall. You can tell this place does simple cleaning but doesn’t deep clean the rooms. We were scared to take our shoes off and walk barefoot. The walls and doors had dirt and marks on them. The pool was so gross even ducks wouldn’t get in it. There’s no seating next to the pool that isn’t broken. The AC units are very old and ours stopped working leaving us sweltering one night. All this to be said, we raised concerns with Expedia about the conditions we encountered and they offered us $25 for two nights at a place that makes motel 6 look nice. So save yourself the hassle, disappointment in both the hotel and Expedia, and book somewhere else and through someone else.

The staff were pleasant, the beds were comfortable. The property needs updating, new carpet and curtains, the rooms smelled musty,& dirty. Bathroom had strong scent of cleaning agent which was nasty but we appreciated that staff were cleaning. The curtains looked dirty and stained. Inside the entrance to one of the rooms was a large wet spot 2 ft by 2 ft.

Staff was very nice Advertisement said there would be breakfast but no such thing existed. Part of the room needed help- chipped paint, dirty curtains,etc. Did have coffer maker, frig and microwave. Parking lot is like a roller coaster--needs to be redone. Located near nice restaurants.
