You must book the canal view room to see all the boat traffic. Still very quiet with shops and restaurants outside your door. Complimentary boat taxi to Merato. "

"Great location close to the train which is why we booked here. But that attracts the crowds and sketchy people on the street out front. Easy walking to all the sights of Venice. Lovely and quaint hotel. Room was a great size; shower within a tub can be really dangerous as the base is rounded. The breakfast included all the key elements & was delicious. Staff are just super kind and extremely helpful."

"I loved that the location was in front of the water. It had a remarkable view and the staff was very friendly. The room we stayed in was fantastic and we received our bottle of sparkling wine. The breakfast was delicious and it's not too far of a walk, about 15 mins, to the bus station. Bathroom was nice and clean and there was a convenient store within a 2 min walk which was a great way to save some $ on drinks"

"This was our second stay at Antico Panada but we were in one of the of site rooms rather than in the main hotel. The room was excellent and the service brilliant, being remote from the main hotel, was not an inconvenience "
