"⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ An Exceptional Stay at The Ritz-Carlton, Tenerife – True Luxury at Its Finest! We have stayed at Ritz-Carlton hotels around the world, and I can confidently say that The Ritz-Carlton, Tenerife, has once again exceeded our expectations! From the moment we arrived until the moment we left, the level of service, attention to detail, and genuine hospitality was simply outstanding. We stayed in The Retreat, in a beautiful One-Bedroom Suite with Ocean View, and the entire experience was exceptional. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed so warmly and professionally by the staff. We were transported by car to the private check-in area, where we were offered refreshing drinks and made to feel incredibly special. Although check-in was at 4 pm and we had to wait a little while for our suite, the hotel ensured we were comfortable and could enjoy its wonderful facilities, along with complimentary drinks and delicious nibbles included as part of our suite experience. "The apartments are huge with large fridge/freezer, microwave, oven, kettle and toaster all in excellent condition. We had a three bedroom apartment which had so much space and storage. Balcony looking out over the sea had 6 sunbeds and table and chairs for 8 with still loads of space! Entertainment team of Emma, Nicola and Dianna helped make the holiday with their fun and enthusiasm. Large resort so does mean some rooms are quite a bit from the pool but the views are worth it. Friendly helpful staff on reception also."

"This is a beautiful hotel that I could not fault. Gardens are beautifully maintained and so peaceful. Staff without question are helpful, courteous and really warm but remaining professional. Breakfast is exceptional. Pool area so peaceful and always lots of beds free. We stayed bed and breakfast and ate at the hotel once and choice and quality of buffet was also exceptional. "Friendly staff who were happy to help. Bar staff remembered people and their drinks. Variety of food selection on offer. Lots of sun loungers on offer although the hotel can block the sun occasionally. The room was fine, clean and spacious. Room and general internal areas of the hotel looked slightly old / outdated however no complaints. Only one issue was in the final morning before checking out, there was a fairly large leak coming from the ceiling above the shower, this didn’t affect me as I was preparing to leave and reception staff did apologise and arrange the maintenance crew to check."

"Great option for budget Before mentioning any negatives, I want to start by saying the staff were amazing and highly professional. The person who greeted us was one of the best hotel staff members I’ve ever encountered and truly deserves recognition. It’s also worth noting that this is a 3-star budget hotel, so expectations should be set accordingly—you generally get what you pay for. The main building has great charm, being over 300 years old, which adds character to the stay. We booked a budget room (Room 104), which had a small courtyard but lacked any real views. One of the major concerns was the lack of air conditioning. Although units are present, they don’t work effectively. During summer, the island gets very hot, and the room often felt like an oven, which made it uncomfortable at times. The pool is small but serves its purpose well as a place to cool off. There is also a sun terrace with around 40 loungers, which is a nice touch. Breakfast was included, but as part of a budget offering, the hot food could have been better. It was often cold, and unfortunately, the plates provided didn’t fit in the microwave to reheat the food. The bathroom was missing sink plugs for both the sink and the bath, which was inconvenient. It would also have been a big improvement if the room had a fridge. On the positive side, the hotel is in a great location in a lovely town, ideal for those looking for a quieter holiday"
