We had a fantastic stay at Relais Villa Savarese, we could genuinely not fault it. From the gorgeous building, driveway and pool to the staff who went above and beyond for us. The hotel was extremely quiet and very clean. The staff let us keep our key at the front desk whilst we went exploring which was a lovely added bonus. The walk into Sorrento was around 20-25 minutes which we didn't mind with such gorgeous weather - it was also very convenient as it was only a 10 minute walk from Sant'Agnello train station and bus stop for our transfers to and from Naples Airport. I hope to visit again!

Fantastic property! Staff were all extremely welcoming, friendly and helpful. Property itself was beautiful and clearly well looked after. Hotel is in a fairly quiet area with no traffic noise at all but is only a short walk in to central Sorrento. Brilliant Hotel and highly recommended.

Perfect Sorrento-adjacent Hotel

Wonderful boutique hotel - great location on the edge of Sorrento so less traffic but great for walking. Nearby vistas for sunsets - food, drink, right down the street. Staff is great and parking is on site. Feels old-world in many ways.

This is an absolutely beautiful hotel. I have stayed in the area numerous times and this is the best accommodation so far. Although slightly out of Sorrento, it is a lovely 15 or so minute walk, and much quieter than the hotels in the centre. All of the staff were lovely and very helpful, and the room was perfectly cleaned everyday. The breakfast is delicious, and the pool area is beautiful. I would definitely return, 5 star rating.

Great hotel. Staff friendly and helpful. The only downside is the pool bar opening hours. Bar does not open until 12.30 and no where to get cold drinks if sitting by the poolside in the morning.

7 days in and around Sorrento

Had a fantastic week long stay at this lovely hotel, friendly helpful staff greeted you whether you where leaving for the day or coming back and where always happy to help with any enquiries. The hotel itself is set in a very tranquil spot with a lovely pool to cool down in when required, the rooms are nicely decorated and very clean and quiet, I wouldn’t hesitate to stay again and would definitely recommend staying here if you intend to stay in or around Sant Agnello

We loved our stay! The property is beautiful, lots of greenery and very quiet. The pool is a lovely place to relax, there were always sun loungers available no matter what time we went down. The staff were really friendly and helpful. It has an excellent location, about a 20 minute walk away from Sorrento, and with some lovely restaurants and bars with in a 5-10 minute walk. Would highly recommend staying here if you are planning on going to Sorrento.

A real gem !!!!!

A unique family run hotel just outside Sorrento. Tastefully decorated with beautiful furnishings. A lovely pool situated amongst mature garden with plenty of sun beds. The staff cannot do enough for you and want to make your stay a happy and memorable one. The service they gave was exceptional. My husband and I will definitely be returning to this hotel with all our family.

The view of the lemon trees and the pool were amazing. The breakfast was good and they have different options every morning. We even asked for a fresh boiled eggs in the morning and they did it for us. The bed is firm and comfortable and they were clean. The only thing was it was 20-30 min walk to downtown and ferry terminal. But it was close to the train station if you wanna go to Pampai or Naples. The train that we took was 10-15 min walk from our stay called S. Agnelo. Definitely recommend this place.

Perfect place to stay in Sorrento

Perfect stay in Sorrento! The pool (and lunch options around the pool) were very welcomed at this stage of our trip. The room was very spacious. We had a room in an annex building that had a patio leading straight to the pool. We had a deluxe annex room, which was great. We did consider it on the pricey side for the type of room though, but all amenities surrounding it were worth it. Also, the staff is very friendly. Finally, we suggest driving to Sorrento and using a public parking close to piazza tasso rather than walking (25 minutes) or going by cab (very expensive). The public parking always has free space and it quite cheap.

Avoid

The worst customer service experience I have ever had at a hotel. On the outside the hotel looks nice but as soon as you have an issue staff are unable to deal with it and management are unwilling to see the customer’s point of view. I was told by a staff member last night I would receive a partial refund for issues encountered - management (who were unavailable on the day of check out with no deputy in place) have emailed today to say this is not the case. The attitude of the manager is really poor and I have never received a response such as this at a hotel before. Poor air conditioning, dirty towels, having to change my own bedsheets and issues around payment are only some of the problems I had. What could have been a lovely stay in a lovely property has been let down by terrible management and guest services. I would not recommend this property to anyone.

The entire property was so incredibly clean, all but 1 of the staff members were so polite and very helpful. Th terrace room was stunning and by far the nicest of 7 hotels we stayed at during our tour of Italy. Cannot recommend this hotel enough for the room size, maid staff, cleanliness, and overall relaxing vibes. Would stay again!
