"We had a great stay here. The views are simply amazing and the pool area is lovely to pass a relaxing few hours. We thoroughly recommend staying at Villa La Ventana for a wonderful place to explore both the Amalfi coast and Sorrento peninsula. You need a car to make the most of the location but well worth being away from the main tourist hustle & bustle. "The owner, Mariella, was a 10/10 host. The space was so clean, accessibility to contact her was great, and she made our experience so personal by suggesting restaurants, activities, and go-to rental companies. I will only be recommending this suite to anyone travelling to Sorrento."

"We had an amazing stay at the property. It is a peaceful oasis with gorgeous flower. Staff was very lovely and food was great. We enjoyed the pool. I can’t recommend it enough!"

The location of this accommodation is not actually in Sorrento but in Sant’Agnello, which is about a 6-minute walk to the nearest bus station. Buses run every 45 minutes and cost €2, but if you opt for a taxi, be prepared for an overpriced fare of around €25.
If you have your own mode of transportation—like a bicycle, scooter, or car—this place is a great option. However, for those traveling on foot, it’s a bit of a long and slightly inconvenient walk.

"The breakfast was delicious. There was a sumptuous spread. The owner made these two delicious Italian cakes.
They were lovely and accommodating with our requests. They let us leave our luggage with them, before checking in and after checking out.
The room was beautiful with a lovely view.
Had a lovely stay. Would happily come back. "

"Staff was friendly and helpful. Room was clean and comfortable. We didn’t get a chance to use the pool, unfortunately, but appreciated the welcome drink at the rooftop bar! Breakfast was wonderful with lots of options."
"Hotel conveniently located next to the Napoli Centrale and not too far from the airport. Since we had an early arrival, the staff kindly stored our luggage while we toured the area.
The room was spacious and clean."
"5 stars is not enough to describe this hotel. The beach club, restaurants, pool, spa, and bars were superb. Turn down service nightly. Shuttle to shopping and port. Elevator to the beach club. The views are another world. The room was so beautiful and relaxing. Every single person from the moment I arrived until I left were so kind and made me feel like I was family. I wish I had stayed longer."
"We had a wonderful stay. The hotel was beautiful, impeccably maintained, and every detail was thoughtfully taken care of. What truly stood out was the professionalism and friendliness of the staff, who consistently went above and beyond to ensure a memorable experience. We would gladly return and highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area."
"Emplacement idéal à Naples; personnel gentil mais lorsqu’on a demandé de réserver un resto pour nous ils nous ont dit de le faire nous même par Internet. Moins aimé : les draps étaient rugueux et pas de vrais kleenex dans la salle de bain , plutôt des mini kleenex ."
"The hotel is not in Sorrento, but they operate a shuttle bus hourly. If you’re looking for town centre location, this is not for you.
The hotel is set high above Sorrento and from the public spaces, commands sensational views across the Gulf of Naples, and an amazing view over Sorrento itself and Vesuvius! It’s a hard view to beat!
The hotel & rooms are spotlessly clean, the bar and terrace all have amazing views and the swimming pool is lovely, although was almost bath temperature whilst we were there so ideal.
We had partial sea view rooms with balcony on 1st floor (224 and 222 which our daughters had). The rooms really need updating as look very dated and the balcony and partial sea view were just not worth the extra money. Also no coffee/tea making facilities which is always a negative for me. However, beds were very comfortable and the rooms have AC.
Restaurant was very good, although we ate quite simply (ie pasta!) and the bar was great - hotel prices obviously. Breakfast was excellent. Same dining room as dinner and a lovely space to eat in.
Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and found the staff to be plentiful and universally excellent, in particular the receptionists.
Note on travel: it’s worth taking a taxi or using the hotel airport transfer service. Public transport looks good on paper, but the trains are rammed. We did a trip to Pompeii by train and it was so crowded we got an uber back to the hotel. Costly but money well spent!"
"The hotel and amenities were amazing, food and drinks delicious, the location is perfect and the staff could not have been more professional, helpful and kind. I highly recommend this hotel. It’s fabulous!"
