At the top, Gioconda who surprised me with cutest birthday cake; Matteo and Mario who brought it to me upon my arrival at my breakfast table and Fabio who gave me all the pieces of information I needed with a big smile. "Our stay at this hotel was truly exceptional. From the moment we arrived, everything felt warm and welcoming. The setting is peaceful and picturesque, the hotel itself is spotless and beautifully maintained, and the staff are simply lovely. The reception team greeted us with genuine warmth and helpfulness, and the breakfast staff were a joy — always smiling, accommodating, and full of positive energy. The location is serene, with stunning tennis courts and what might be the most incredible pool we’ve ever swum in — large, crystal clear, and perfectly warm. Everything we needed was right on hand: a great bar, a delicious restaurant, and plenty of space to relax. Highlights included the freshly made pasta, pizza, salads, and desserts — all absolutely delicious. And the breakfast was outstanding, especially the homemade banana bread! If we could offer one small piece of advice, it would be to share more photographs on social media to showcase just how special this place is — the marvellous staff, the food, the facilities, and the tranquil setting. That said, part of us wants to keep this gem a secret! Highly recommended — we can’t wait to return."

"We stayed in the beachside annex. This is really on the beach and therefore next to restaurants, but steps to the water. So there are lots of people around during the day, but mostly families. Also, San Andrea is tiny, so by restaurants, I mean three. By the time we had finished dinner, the entire beach had cleared out and we were the only people there. For breakfast, we could make the short trip to the hotel, where the coffee is prepared as you like it and the buffet offering a wide range of healthy, fresh food. The staff are highly professional, which came in handy for me. I needed assistance for an unpredicted and serious problem, which was miraculously solved by Maurizio, who is as knowledgeable about Elba as a person can be. You can rent an umbrella, or you can buy a snorkel and swim off the rocks (very satisfying) or you can make a short trek to a peaceful, sandy beach. All said, a great location with a mostly Italian clientele and very good, fresh seafood. We rented a car and the driving can be challenging. If you are not accustomed to winding roads and Italian driving (other cars come close and often at high speed) it might be a bit scary."

"Checked in early, they were kind enough to hold our luggage but we couldnt get the room because it was 10am. The route to get to the hotel was tough, too many curbs and single car roads the parking was complicated and seemed sus. Upon getting to our room, our luggage was there waiting in the room, but the hotel and room seemed like a prison. The hotel was outdated and didnt feel comfortable. They were nice enough to put a crib inside the room without us asking for our baby."
