"The hotel is in a quiet location with free parking. At check in the host gave us a menu for the restaurant on site. He said to pick anything on the menu and he would cook it for us. We are so glad we took him up on his offer as the food was delicious. The breakfast buffet was really good too. "

"Management was not to be seen. A lot of undertrained staff. The main hotel is in very poor condition and needs major renovations. Hygiene can be seriously improved. The new section of the hotel with a spa and the restaurant is on the other side of the street. In the main building, there is no possibility to have tea or coffee, not in the room and not in the foyer. "The check process is a bit cumbersome. It is totally electronic with no human intervention. When you start the process of the kiosk, make sure you have your passport and hotel reservation number available. The room was clean and a good size. "Clean, comfortable hotel, quiet when we stayed there during low season, good location. Did not like the 4 pm check-in. Arrived at 1:30 pm. With no-one around, we used the code they sent to get into the reception. We were not able to get into the room, even though it was available. At 3 pm the receptionist arrived. Even though no-one else was around and we were obviously waiting, she did not offer to check us in until we asked if we can check in “early”, apparently as a favour. The rather late...

"Very nice and new appartment - which we really liked a lot. Walking to UGGA lift is just 5-10 min but can feel much longer in full skiing equipment. Buses come every 20 min, but were often overcrowed in the morning. Otherwise,. perfect stay. "

July 2016 Raetikon view from Wissplatte, Voralberg, Austria Wissplatte with altitude 2.628 meters is an accessible summit in the Raetikon mountains just on the border of Austria and Switzerland. You can get there in ca. 1,5-2 hours from Tilisuna Huette or in ca. 6- 7 hours from Tschaggung in the Montafon valley. In the view you can see the prominent spike-like peak of Schwarzhorn (2.460 m), Tilisuna Huette cabin (2.208 m altitude, just below the Schwarzhorn) and Tschaggungser Mittagspitze (2.160 m). Close to the hut you can see the Tilisuna see mountain lake (2.103 meters) under the Tilisuna Seehorn (2.342 m). The valley in the background is the Montafon valley (around 700 m alt.) with villages Vandans and Tschaggung. In the background you see the ranges of Lechquellengebirge (up to 2.700 m) and Verwallgruppe (up to 3.000 m). On a sunny day it is just a rewarding view after the daily hike from the valley of Montafon.
