"Trip was amazing. This is a small resort that has incredible rooms, restaurants, and a private beach. The staff was attentive, friendly, and always ready to help. The manager, Andrea, was very helpful and always was ready to do whatever we needed to make our stay great. The main restaurant had amazing food and outstanding service. The beachfront restaurant was a little more casual but food and service was great as well. Eating breakfast on the beach was relaxing. Carlos at the bar was friendly and good with the drinks. The resort is remote and not in a busy area, while this is wonderfully relaxing it does mean that there is very little within walking distance. There are a couple of restaurants within walking distance, if you need to go to the store or to another restaurant you'll need a taxi. The hotel is always glad to help you book one and the cab drivers were all fun and happy to talk about the island. If you're looking for a relaxing trip to the beach, with beautiful views, amazing staff, away from crowds, and top tier food you won't go wrong with the Sugar Mill. "

"The room property were very clean. The staff were helpful and nice. The property and room are charming. Fresh little flowers on the bed and table. You will not mistake this for a corporate hotel and that is a good thing! If you have mobility issues this is probably not the place for you as the drive up/walk is steep. We would stay there again."

"Great location on Great Harbor! Walking distance to all restaurants in Great Harbor. Perfect anniversary get away! We loved staying at Tranquil Desires. Cold AC, ceiling fans, great internet. Very clean and comfortable. The hosts (John and Rose) are super nice. Floated in the pool and really enjoy sitting on the deck admiring the views.Highly recommend and will book again."
