Beach House Retreat - ‘Bob-Inn’

Two storey beach house just minutes walk from the local surf beach. Fully fenced property with heating and air conditioning, carport and outdoor shower for after the beach. Great for families or a group of couples to relax.

Top Level: 2 x living areas, separate toilet, bathroom (bath and shower), kitchen, 2 x bedrooms (queen bed in each).
Bottom level: Laundry (washer and dryer), 1 x bedroom (queen bed), 1 x bedroom (2 x single bunks), 1 bathroom (toilet and shower.)

If you require bed linen and towels there is an extra charge of $40/room paid by direct deposit to our bank account. (Not charged through Stayz).

Otherwise, you can supply your own bed linen (sheets, pillow cases) and towels if preferred.

View local wildlife:
Wombats, koalas and echidnas are some of the locals who may visit occasionally.

Enjoy time hidden away in the house, on the surf beach, in the calm waters of Shallow inlet, at the park, a visit to the general store, bring your gear to surf, fish or swim, walk around the town or bring a bike and ride to enjoy the area.

Location and Size

Great stay and super easy host to deal with. The location and direct access to the beach is awesome whether to watch the sun set or grab an early wave. Biggest let down was the bbq. Would have expected a bit better in a property of this size. Great house for families and groups

Family stay for the long weekend

The house is overall spacious and modern and easily housed our group of 10. Water pressure is great for showers, things were easy to locate and AC was nice and strong. However, what let's the experience down is the upkeep of the house and the amenities . P9within the property.

Great base to explore Sandy Point

We (four friends) visited for a long weekend. The house is modern with a great kitchen, and the upstairs living area opens out to a grassy space where we spent lots of time. Having bathrooms with showers both upstairs and downstairs was extra convenient. Overall, a very good place to stay.

Unbelievable location

If your looking for a beach house close to the beach, this is it. Its also really well set up for after you come back from the beach with shower and great wet area to change and de-sand. Good for two families with kids as well.

Great to enjoy our family gathering at Sandy Point in such ideal accommodation. Plenty of room for all and plenty of amenity areas. Location was great and house was clean and neat and well appointed. Thankyou.

Not clean

The house was in a great location but was unfortunately filthy when we arrived. It appeared that it hadn't been cleaned in months let alone after the previous guests. The toilets smelled like urine, the showers had pink mould and sand, there was blood on the wall in one of the rooms that trailed up the stairs and into the kitchen. One of the bedrooms had a thick layer of dust across all the bedside tables and a huge hairball sitting on it. The owner was apologetic but informed us the cleaner would not be able to make it so we then had to purchase our own cleaning products to clean the house. On top of this we were offered the absolute bare minimum of a refund, I had to negotiate to even get the full service fee back. Apparently booking on a long weekend negates your rights to any more of a refund because of "weekend rates". Overall I was very disappointed. It's such a shame because the house is in a great location and had a lot of potential. I won't be booking again.

Amazing - we loved it!

We loved our stay at Sandy Point - Bob-inn. The location was was perfect, only a few minute walk, with direct access, to the beach. The house was clean, spacious and modern. We had two families staying in the house and we didn’t feel like we were on top of each other. There was plenty for the kids to do, board games, playing spots in the backyard and a park just a few minutes walk away. Will definitely be booking with Tanya again. She was lovely to deal with and always replied to messages in a timely manner.

Fab house

This is a great house for a group of friends to catch up. It’s very light and airy there’s lots of space and it’s position to the beach is fantastic. It has a lovely walk through the sand dunes to get to the most pristine beaches. We had a fabulous weekend there and would recommend it to anybody.

Great Sandy Point house

Superb communication with the owner/property manager. Great private access to the beach. Great amenities and design of the home for privacy. Little improvement required with cleanliness of the home inside and outside. Otherwise fantastic holiday home. Cheers Adam
