I booked a 4 night stay that I had to modify. The property manager was accommodating. The neighborhood is an RV park that is quite crowded. We stayed in unit 10, a trailer. First impression was that the outside could use some TLC. Then we opened the door and stopped in our tracks due to the smell. It was a combo of damp, must, mold and animal stink. We tried to air it out, but could only find 2 windows that would open. Plus the windows were dirty with dead flies and spider webs. There was a floor fan, but it was filthy, as was the carpet. No idea what those stains were, but the entire carpet felt damp and was sticky. I wore my flip flops the whole time. There was some animal hair on the couch also. I bought a sheet and covered it. The kitchen and bathroom were clean except for under the sinks and in the cabinets. The refrigerator was clean. The kitchen was poorly supplied. The place had some newer window treatments. But the smell was just too much. We went to the store and bought incense, spray and a candle. Nothing helped. The towels were clean, smelled like bleach. The beds were hard and smelled sour. The pillows were yucky and stained. We bought new pillows also. There is central air, but the floor vents were also gross. They were full of leaves, animal hair and other debris, so the air was blowing through this for us to breathe. My son has asthma, so we knew what we had to do. Ultimately we left and rented another place as soon as we could. I probably should have gone to the property manager to ask for a refund, but we just wanted out and it was already paid for. This place needs new carpet and a deep cleaning, along with some attention to the windows that wouldn’t open. Overall a bad experience.
