This is the lower private unit of the family home built by former US Congressman (Hoover, FDR) William Fiesinger and his wife Maud. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. The location was awesome, bed comfortable, towels absorbent, coffee and snacks were a treat. Bring ear plugs just in case the people staying above move around a lot (we stayed on the first floor, no big deal-the noise level would in no way stop us from staying in the location again). The owner communication was great.

5 stars! Check in was a breeze, great communication with the host, Dave. Very clean and tidy. The kitchen was well provided with coffee, tea and a bonus of snacks on the counter! The Bedroom was very comfortable and there were plenty of towels and linens. The living room was charming, felt very welcoming. Also, I the back patio. It was great for morning coffee or evening beverages and conversation.The mural added to the overall charm of the place. Oh, and there is additional seating on the front porch, enjoyed lunch there a couple of times. Bonus: The house is within walking distance to downtown and the lake!
