Located on the peninsula just a few miles down the road from Cedar Point Amusement Park. This spacious home has a gorgeous private beach, a large yard, and paved bulkhead great for relaxing, sunbathing, and fishing.

The home features two large family rooms, one on each level, and five bedrooms and four baths. The family rooms and master bedrooms have cable television. The downstairs family room has a connecting full bath and wet bar with a side by side refrigerator.

There are two primary bedrooms with king beds each with a private bath. The upstairs primary bedroom also has an outdoor deck. The other primary is on the lower level. The two additional bedrooms share a 'Jack and Jill' bathroom. One bedroom has a queen and a twin bed. Bedroom four has two twin beds. The five bedroom is on the second floor and has a twin bed and a crib.

The large patio with a table and natural gas stainless steel barbeque is a comfortable place to enjoy an outdoor meal.

Great spot for all of us...7 senior ladies. Beautiful location. House was very well appointed. A few minor amenity issues that I communicated to host. Would certainly recommend to other groups or families.

The property was well set up for a large group. Plenty of bed space and bathrooms. The beach was clean and had chairs provided. The back yard was a nice setup, we came at a bad time of year for the lake flies. Overall we had a great time and are planning on reserving this property next year.

Family time

Wonderful time with family! We had our Slovakian family here with us. Many memories to share on this trip! The house is very spacious for our group of 12. The views amazing of the water. We will not forget our special time here!

Wonderful Cedar Point Location

Plenty of space for 11 teens/adults in this beautiful house. Clean and the water view was amazing. Gracious and attentive hosts. Perfect place for a Sandusky/Cedar Point lake stay!

Excellent location

Our family really enjoyed this home. It was large and open - so plenty of room to spread out. We enjoyed a day at Cedar Point - this home was an excellent location for access into the park!

Great Location!

Our family of four, and friends with their three children, enjoyed the property. The location was ideal with very easy access to Cedar Point. We had a bonfire 5 out 7 nights and enjoyed the peacefullness of the bay. Plenty of room for nine.

Amazing vacation

Our stay on Lake Erie was just wonderful. The house was perfect, and the location was ideal. Our host went above and beyond to communicate with us. He made us feel so welcome and well cared for. This is a spot that we would return to, and that is saying something!

Lots of space, amazing views

Great stay! There were just some things missing that I would have expected from a vacation rental management company: Soap/body wash, shampoo/conditioner, olive oil/pam, firewood, coffee mugs…maybe even fishing pools. But really a very nice location. Very interesting house.

Family Thanksgiving

This was an amazing home located halfway between families to meet and celebrate Thanksgiving. Doug communicated quickly and effectively and we had a great time! Accommodated all of us with a large enough space to all be comfortable! Lots of TVs for football and kids movies! Breweries were fun! Shopping by was great! Everything was close and the views were just beautiful! We will be back!

Beautiful home!

We had a wonderful stay in Doug's home! The house accommodated us very well with room to gather and to also have some quiet space. All the rooms are very generous in size and the kitchen was spacious for all of us to help with meal prep. It was wonderful having a private beach available for some water fun! We booked this house for a 40th Anniversary celebration with our children and grandchildren, and we made some special memories!

Fantastic house with tons of room

My family had a fantastic stay at this home. The kitchen was fully stocked with nice plates, silverware, etc. and soap was provided for dishes, bathroom sinks, and laundry (always a bonus). There was plenty of room for us to spread out and enjoy nice views of the bay and beach. It was convenient to Cedar Point and also a quiet place to work remotely. Also, FYI, there are double dishwashers and washers/dryers! I highly recommend this home (and the very nice host).

Beautiful location and ample space

Overall lovely place. 10 of us fit comfortably in the house with space to roam and a private beach steps away. The view from the master was amazing. There were a few very minor things but nothing to really complain about since the area was so serene we just enjoyed it. We even thought about adding another night but assumed they were already booked, and one of us had to return to normal life. We'd definitely do it again.

Our stay at 1007 Cedar Point Rd Sandusky.

Doug the owner was nice enough to accommodated us with our dog and I really appreciate it. It is a beautiful home and a fabulous location. I would highly recommend this house after a few simple changes are made by the home owner. Everyone in my family loved the house. We were there to attend a funeral. The house was the perfect location to celebrate my 93 year old mothers life. 😊

Lovely Times

Home was spacious. More than enough room for us all to spread out! Backyard was perfect for kids age 2.5-6 to run around and play, bonfires during sunset. The beach across the street was clean and perfect! Don’t forget your water shoes as the first few feet going into lake are pebbly, before it turns sandy. Doug the owner was responsive. We are likely going to stay again next summer.

Great house for extended family

This was great for our week with extended family. A sizable back yard directly on the bay (though without boat access--not a problem for us) and, across a lightly traveled road and a short dune, a private beach on Lake Erie. The interior layout provided plenty of bedrooms, seating, and space for the little ones to run around. Having two dishwashers was especially convenient! It was a little tricky to ignite the burners on the gas grill but we managed. Having a washer and dryer was nice, too. The a/c was a little uneven in how it cooled the various spaces in the house but it kept us comfortable. Beautiful spot, near the amusement park but far enough away to avoid congestion, and near to some nature preserves. Playgrounds were pretty close, too.

Perfect Beach House

This property was the best possible place for our multi family vacation. The house is designed so that the parents could have private areas and the kids had their own family room. We really liked that all of the bedrooms we used had a great water view and you could even hear the waves from the lake splashing on the shore across the street. The kitchen was well stocked with all of the essentials if you would want to cook but with so many dining options close by there really isn’t a need to. We loved having 2 refrigerators so that we could keep plenty of cold drinks available for everyone. The house was very clean at check in and we had no issues with anything. The host was super attentive and always respond quickly to any questions we had. The fire pit in the backyard is the perfect place to sit in the evening and enjoy a beverage. Overall this was a perfect rental experience and I look forward to returning next year with our family.

Stunning property, well worth the stay

I can’t say enough good things about this property. We used it as a home-base for family who flew in to experience Ohio. Communication with the owner was top notch. He was proactive in reaching out, answered questions throughly, and remedied a small issue quickly. The property listing was accurate. Bedrooms were spacious with enough amenities for a comfortable stay. Roughly half of the beds had firm mattresses, the other half soft. There were a handful of extra blankets and pillows which came in handy. We found the sinks in both master bedrooms had little space for personal products. Storage in other places made it a non-issue. The 2 living rooms were a nice way to have downtime without being stuck in a bedroom. The televisions have streaming services available and logging in was easy. The kitchen is good sized with sufficient cooking amenities for most common meals, though storage for meal prep or leftovers was minimal. We used the beverage fridge more than we thought we would. It was nice to keep people out of the kitchen and maintain sufficient food storage. The property has a handful of thermostats which allowed us to control temperature on each floor. The property itself is beautiful. We lived in the backyard when not traveling, fishing early morning (5a-7a) and evenings (5p-9p) with tremendous success. Most days each person averaged 20 fish of all sizes and varieties. Stunning sunrises and sunsets bookended incredible days. We’re already discussing a return trip.
