2026 POOL SEASON: MAY 8-SEPT 30. NOTE: THIS IS A SEMI PRIVATE POOL SHARED ONLY WITH OUR OTHER UNIT DIRECTLY BEHIND. POOL IS FOR GUESTS ONLY, NOT OTHER FRIENDS.Heated, 14x28 in-ground, saltwater pool!  HOT TUB ONLY AVAILABLE TO USE AFTER 5.1.26 (GETTING A NEW ONE).  8 person spa with a new 42" TV mounted under the covered area for super cool enjoyment while in the hot tub!  3 bedrooms, 1 bath 1,200 sq ft., lower unit. The rear yard of this is a nice, grassy area that adjoins the awesome pool deck. 2 back yards for your enjoyment! Tiki bar, gazebo, gas firepit, Bocce ball, corn hole too. 3 nice sized bedrooms with new Roku Flat screen TV's, large bathroom, double vanity, washer / dryer, & more! Bedroom 1; king, Bedroom 2; queen, bedroom 3; 1 queen, 2 twin beds, all new Roku, flat screen TV's.  This property, "Buoy House" is basically a less expensive back door to our other home, the "Round House" with the awesome pool deck but with this unit you have a hot tub too. NOTE: The pool is for paying guests only, No friends of guests as it is semi private. This keeps the crowd down, we have no issues, everyone gets along and enjoys each other. Afterall, hotels have sometimes 50 rooms with one pool. It works well.

This property made our stay in Sandusky so much better than a crowded hotel with the amazing backyard oasis that’s only shared with their other property although we lucked out and had it all to ourselves for our stay. The hosts were amazing and accommodating. Very easy check in process. Definitely intend on staying here again. BONUS they have the cutest friendliest little dogs who will keep you the best company if you don’t mind

Great place to stay for Cedar Point

Great family get away weekend

Plenty to do in the area. Lots of fun spots within walking or short driving distance. House well set up with activities and the host was very welcoming. A very pleasant weekend for all ages.

Such a fun rental!

The host was so helpful from start to finish. The rental was so cute and was stocked with all kinds of things. Weather your traveling with just adults or have kids, there something fun for everyone! We had amazing stay and would definitely come back! The back yard is full of fun activities and the pool was so much fun for our kids!

Great Place!

We were in town for an event and didn’t want to stay in a hotel. This property was in a very convenient location. Overall the property was clean and comfortable and has many extras like a pool, hot tub, yard games, etc. Owners were very responsive with any questions I had. I would stay here again for sure.

Hometown gathering

A great place to stay for us and our children/grandchildren for a family event back in my hometown. Great hosts, providing nice amenities, even a fire in the fire pit in the evening.

Absolutely amazing

Overall just amazing. Property is beautiful, Jeff was great and extremely helpful, the pool was perfect, everything you need onsite. We really enjoyed our stay and would stay again!!!!

Convenient and Spacious

The property was conveniently located near downtown Sandusky and the Great Wolf Lodge. Our family of 4 had plenty of space and the open concept made it ideal for the littles to run around. The hosts were easy to contact and responsive to our messages.

Sandusky volleyball tournament

We were in town for my daughter's volleyball tournament at the Cedar point sports center. The house was perfect for our needs. Jeff and Nick were prompt in responding to messages and provided all the details for accessing the property. The house and property were clean and well kept. Thank you!

Great place to stay close to Sandusky

Jeff and his wife were great hosts, and always available for any questions we might have. Had so many games around it’s impossible to get bored staying there. Our friends rented out the house connected to the back yard and it was perfect place to share with (friends or family). Loved it!! He even reached out to me when I forgot my camera charger and battery and offered to mail it!! So kind!

Rental was Awesome

The hosts, house and pool were great. Everything was so clean and it had everything we could need and more. My only suggestion would be to not have your political views plastered everywhere around the outside of the house. Even those in our group that agree with your banners and bumper stickers didn’t particularly like it being in our face while away for the weekend. Thanks for a great stay otherwise.

Weekend getaway

Jeff was a great host for our long weekend in Sandusky! He and his wife are very familiar to the area and it was convenient they use the unit above the rental as they were helpful in making local recommendations throughout our stay. The rental was very clean, comfortable and accommodating. We had everything we needed available to us. The yard for the unit was large and we were able to enjoy a small fire as well as play yard games. We used the pool for a significant part of one of our days and it was a great temperature and well maintained pool deck. I hope to visit this property again!

Close to parks and island ferries, yet plenty of privacy. The home was spacious with plenty of room for multiple families. The outdoor space was beautifully landscaped and had all of the amenities needed for a perfect stay.

Family Getaway

Buoy House is a true gem of a place to stay! The owners have thought of everything you need to just relax and enjoy the space. The backyard is a beautiful oasis! We loved the hot tub, and especially the pool! There’s a park just down the street, on the lake, that you can view the gorgeous sunsets over the water. It was a great trip, easy check in and out! Highly recommend!!
