"Great position overlooking the sea. Beds were comfortable and check-in was straightforward. Great onsite parking.
Would be helpful to bins in the bathrooms and perhaps in the bedrooms as well.
Can imagine it would be very hot in the summer."

"Super cute apartment! The owners are super nice! We met them since we knocked on the main house door thinking it was the same place! Very close to the beach and the train!"

"We had a great stay in Alexander Pike’s one bedroom flat in Cowes. The property could not have been situated any better. It was in downtown Cowes on the pedestrian zone. The grocery store and bus stop were directly across the street from the flat. The walk from the ferry was one minute. The apartment was spotless. The appointments were perfect. Everything we could have wanted was provided. We definitely will stay here again when we return to the Isle of Wight."

"No ventilation, the apartment has no WINDOWS, accept for 2 roof lights which were too high to reach.
The property was booked for 3 people, I rang and confirmed but regardless there was no linen or pillows for the 3rd person."

"Looks like some of the rooms have been re-done since my last visit so that was great but if you want Maritime nostalgia then there's nowhere better to stay."
"Very comfortable one night stay precruise. Room was quiet, clean and comfortable. Breakfast next morning had a nice selection of hot and cold food. Staff were very friendly also. Only a 10 minute walk to gate 8, easy with a carry on and personal bag. I would stay there again if ever in Southampton."
Forest Park Country Hotel & Inn, Brockenhurst, New Forest
10/10 Excellent
"Lovely property, beautiful location.
Very comfortable bed, good parking and ev charging available.
Room was quite hot (fan supplied but only a small window) and bathroom layout a bit awkward.
Ensuring meals and drinks were correctly added to rooms was a bit disorganised - could do with a signing policy. Breakfast also a little chaotic, though a good choice."
"This hotel provides the basics, but it’s definitely showing its age. The building and facilities feel tired and in need of proper maintenance.
Check‑in was efficient, though the staff were quite detached, which didn’t create much of a welcome.
Our room was clean and neat, but unfortunately it looked nothing like the photos shown on the hotel’s website. The difference was disappointing and felt misleading.
It’s an affordable option, and you do get what you pay for, but more accurate presentation and some investment in the property would make a difference."
"The welcome at Reception was excellent and was a great start to our stay. The staff in the bar/restaurant area were outstanding and we enjoyed our evening so much we planned on going back for lunch the following day. Unfortunately this was when our whole experience changed, we asked for a late check out at 12 but were told it would cost us £10. This seemed petty as we were told late check out was fine. I am also a member of the hotel’s loyalty club and one perk was not having to pay for this. The receptionist told me that this didn’t matter as I had booked through Expedia. She also called me by my first name which I considered rude as she had not introduced herself. We had recently stayed at the Leonardo Grand Harbour and they had not charged us for having our room for the extra hour despite also booking through Expedia. Unfortunately it was a disappointing ending to our three days here and has put us off a further visit. Due to the 11 am check out we did not stay around for lunch so we ended up going home. We parked in the Bedford Place car park which charges £11 for the first 24 hours and £5 for each subsequent 24 hours."
