Lovely Hotel
Good position close to the sea front restaurants and shopping mall. Room was roomy clean with coffee/ tea and water provided daily. Free toiletries. Swimming pool was clean with sun beds and towels. Breakfast had a good selection both Asian and European.

The location is great, the view from our room was amazing. The pool in the 13th floor was a great place for relaxing. Breakfast is good. But .... The room did not look very clean, no soap in the bathroom, no extra toilet paper, HK did not add it in the morning, the person who was supposed to give the pool towels out was not there, the rim of the pool is black, the same with the rim of the sink in our room. The staff of the reception was very nice and helpful.

Good hotel in the centre of a town I guess most people like us pass through en route to Borneo tours. Fit for that purpose. Helpful staff and nice pool facility.

The toilet wasn't cleaned properly. There were no toothbrush and bathrobe which I had to call to request and waited quite awhile. The TV wasn't working.

Nice enough room with a great view of the harbour although the property overall is clearly dated and in great need of a major makeover. The combination tub/shower is absolutely dangerous requiring a ridiculously high step in or out and with a very slippery curved tub bottom to stand on. The shower head mechanism is very difficult to activate and clearly an afterthought during some past partial renovation. This should be torn completely out and replaced with a modern level access shower stall. A complete absence of hand towels and face clothes in the bathroom is another big negative. The Eatery restaurant provides a good breakfast buffet and an assortment of adequate but uninspired a la carte offering for other meals.

i have a wonderful stay at the hotel.unfortunately the pool wasnt ready during my stay on 11&12th january but they upgrade my room.the location was great.food just around the corner.

Pool was being renovated but didn’t tell us at time of booking found out via email a few weeks before our stay. Bar furniture was so uncomfortable. And the bathroom leak took four requests to have it repaired. We left a day early. Was pretty disappointed.

Great value for the price. A few things I missed like handtowels in the bathroom, and the soap dispenser was in the bath which made washing hands awkward. But staff were excellent, the view fantastic, and considering the low price I think it was an excellent hotel.

The environment is conducive and the swimming pool is great. The staff service during my friend's wedding, however, was less than pleasing. There is inadequate staff to refill drinks and bringing the required cocktails. Staff training is a must.

Acquire laundry service, from sending 4 times, 2 times late send back without inform. Need to keep chasing to have my laundry back! Remarks: laundry sending time is before 9am, where expect to get back latest on 6 pm. But on above time, I only get back 9.30 pm

Excellent views from rooms and swimming pool. Staff very friendly and helpful but did have to keep asking for toilet tissue and various towels to be replaced on an almost daily basis, but was provided quickly when asked.

The staff was wonderful. The entire building needs a complete deep cleaning. Our bathroom was sadly disgusting. It was surface clean, it needs to be really looked at by the owners of the building. Sadly, the food was not good.

I was disappointed that there were no sun umbrella's at the pool area. They would have softened the surrounds and added much needed shade. It was in a handy location. The staff were fantastic, especially the Concierge Jeffry who helped me on numerous occasions. Thank you Jeffry.

Good and comfortable stay
Great value for the money and arguably the best in town in terms of facilities and elegance. Nice shopping mall just behind hotel, most rooms have gorgeous ocean view, and relatively clean bed and sheets with no bugs although my wife did found and get startled by two tiny black marks on our sheets and screamed in the middle of the night. Would be perfect otherwise.

Room 2111 has no wifi. LOL!
It was our second overnight stay here. Same experience as our first stay two nights before except with respect to the room wi-fi. They placed us at room 2111 this time. NO WI-FI in that room. Called several times if they can fix it, their response was that they would just reset the internet. Didn’t work. We only had wifi near the room entrance. Rest of the room, nada.

Overall the property was great. Drawbacks were unreliable swipe cards for lifts and room entry, and an odd smell in the refrigerator.
