"This was my second stay at the Puffin Inn. The staff is great and the shuttle is convenient. The free breakfast is generous. I talked to some other patrons, some of them stay there several times a year. The hotel is making some improvements. The building noise started at 10 AM promptly at 6 pm. No pool or gym. Good prices, safe neighborhood, clean rooms. The Korean Restaurant across the street has delicious food. "

Although I do recommend changing your picture on Expedia to something else so people don’t think they are getting that cute mini cabin(false advertising), one other thing I have to mention is the check out time! "I arrived at the airport after 1AM. I called the hotel and the shuttle picked me up promptly. The hotel clerk greeted me by name when I arrived. It is an older hotel, but, it is clean, quiet and staffed by kind and helpful people. The free breakfast has good coffee and above average waffles, fruit and several choices. I liked it enough to stay there a second time as I was leaving Alaska. "
