"great valiue place Sunday to Wednesday in this very remote loaction of Portugal - there is not so much to do, good Restaurants are rare but the hotel offers indoor and outdoor pool, Hamam and quite good breakfast selection (included in all rates)
Downside: even it's so remote they try to charge 7,5€/day for parking - very strange way to collect extra money (would be easier in pool towels rental or breakfast extra) as outside in the streets it's free of charge...."

There was one night that I almost didn’t get into the hotel because no one was at the reception and the main door was locked. Luckily, a woman who was also staying there arrived and called his boyfriend and unlocked the door for us from the inside. There was also a small spark or kind of a little explosion in one of the sockets...

"The experience was incredible good. We traveled driving from Porto to ACoruña. And stayed here for two days. The first and last of our trip. We travel a lot and this place really was a good experience. Perfect and simple design with great attention to details. The cleaning is immaculate . We have the opportunity meeting the owner. Amazing hard worker guy. Excellent team. We definitely recommend Alma Candida 100 percent. Small place but warm, quiet and again, very clean. We will come back . Thanks Joao. "
