"We’ve stayed here before and loved it. The room was clean and the staff at the time were kind. We enjoyed breakfast. There were also Gluten Free options and that was fantastic for our family. This past weekend was the worst experience we have ever had at a hotel - ever. And I won’t be back. We booked two rooms (family of 6) and paid for breakfast. We showed up to check in around 2-2:30PM (we live in another town so it took us a few hours to train down to Pescara.) The lady at the front desk would not take my Italian issued ID. My husband and I are both permanent legal residents in Italy. He is an EU citizen (Netherlands) but has an Italian ID card. I am not an EU citizen (American) and the lady at the desk refused to let me stay even though I have a legal government issued ID from Italy saying that I am a legal permanent resident in Italy. I’ve stayed at hotels with this ID before - all over Italy. Mainly because we are Italian residents (legally) with legal Italian IDs… and we’ve never had an issue. She refused to help us. We couldn’t train home and back to get passports - which we don’t need because we are legal Italian residents with the properly issued IDs - and get a train back to Pescara - there are no trains leaving that late from where we live. In short we were left hurt, disappointed and rudely spoken to- she was rude to our children. We had just enough time to grab some dinner and train home on the last train. If we didn’t get that train we would have had to … sleep"

There’s a wide variety of options, all delicious, and it’s served buffet‑style, which makes the experience even better. "We had a most memorable stay here! All of our rooms were oceanview with their own bathrooms which was great for our group of 10. It was extremely clean and stocked with a nice assortment of items so that we didn’t have to shop right away. And our hosts prepared a delicious traditional menu on our last night. We enjoyed it on the patio as the moon was setting. And we had leftovers for the next day. How wonderful is that? If in Pescara, this property is worth a stay!"

"This property was a delight to stay in: spacious, clean, modern, well-equipped, and charming. The A/C works like a charm, and the kitchen is set up well so you can cook if you like. The front yard (main property photo) is a delightful place to relax and have a glass of wine at the end of the day. We didn't use the pool, but it is clean and easily accessible. It's OK to smoke outside. Giovanni is an excellent host who speaks some English, so no worry about communications. The location is outside of San Vito proper, but there is a bar for coffee and cocktails (Bar Royal Apollonia) within walking distance, plus a top-notch restaurant a little farther (Osteria del Carcere). It's hard to believe that such a small village could have such a great restaurant. The property location is close to many surrounding towns, including Pescara."
