"We had an amazing stay at Pompeii Suite Giovanna and I would highly recommend. Our suite was a short walk to the city center, spacious, nicely decorated, and spotless. Alfonso and Sonia were fantastic, would could not have asked for better hosts. Sonia's homemade Italian breakfasts were delicious and as well has her pasta dinners. "Where to begin....it’s an apartment and not at all as described. We arrived on Sunday to no staff. We literally wandered the building until someone took pity and helped us. Exhausted we napped only to have the owner banging on the door (not using the buzzer system) loudly and aggressively demanding the tax money of 15 euros. He also informed us the toilet doesn’t flush most of the time and we had to dump the water from the AC. There were no onsite laundry facilities as advertised, no bidet, a...

"Alfonso and Sonia were wonderful hosts! Their place was about a 15-20 minute walk from the centre of Pompei. It was very clean and they were available to us throughout our stay. There was a slight misunderstanding re: washing of clothing, but this was due to language barriers and nothing else. In fact, when we realized the issue, Sonia went out of her way to address our concerns. They were truly exceptional hosts!"
