Gutes Hotel im Zentrum von San Sebastian

Bei einem zweitägigen Aufenthalt in La Gomera verbrachten wir eine Nacht in dem Hotel. Das Hotel liegt im Zentrum von San Sebastian. Einkaufsstraße, Restaurants und Hafengebiet sind zu Fuß gut und schnell erreichbar.

Ruhige Lage, vom Hafen bequem zu Fuß erreichbar

Trevligt och centralt

Mycket trevligt litet hotell i centrala San Sebastian. Trevlig personal och Ok frukost. Alldeles utmärkt för den som vill ha ett rum att sova i när man vill utforska La Gomera. Snabbt WiFi! Enda nackdelen var att det saknades luftkonditionering på rummet.

Ordentliches Hotel in guter Lage

Das Zimmer war zweckmäßig aber ordentlich eingerichtet und normal sauber. Leider zeigte das Fenster nur in den sehr kleinen Hof. Das Personal an der Rezeption sprach (neben Spanisch) auch deutsch und englisch, so dass die Verständigung kein Problem war. Beim Frühstück gab es zwar nicht viel Auswahl, aber es hat alles gut geschmeckt. Die Lage ist sehr günstig. Es sind nur wenige Meter zum Strand und zu verschiedenen Restaurants/Cafes. Auch Einkaufsmöglichkeiten gibt es in unmittelbarer Nähe. Ein weiterer Pluspunkt ist die kurze Entfernung zum Busbahnhof, so dass man von hier bequem den Rest der Insel erreichen kann.

Reasonable price and good location

We did a three days' trip to La Gomera and visited laurel forests. This hotel – situated in the middle of San Sebastian – was near of good restaurants, museums and the harbour. The staff was friendly and helpful and breakfast was more worth than 4 euros.

Mycket bra bemötande.

Vi fick en studio utan fönster mot gatan och utan utsikt. Vi ville byta mot ett boende med utsikt och mera ljus. Detta ordnades ganska omgående och vi blev mycket nöjda med bytet - dessutom bjöd hotellet på frukost för två dagar.

Good value for money

Clean and simple -- reasonable value for money, and close enough to the port and the bus station for easy walking. The room was rather spartan and there was a lot of echo and hotel noise -- the walls are rather thin! A good deal of traffic noise too. But the breakfast at an extra cost of 4 Euros per person was excellent value -- a good range of items and a pleasant and clean breakfast room with friendly service. Recommended not maybe for a long stay but for those passing through.

Lungt och bra läge, rymliga rum, rent och snyggt. Några saker som dock drar ner var att "städpatrullen" stormade in strax efter 09:00 oavsett. Wi-fi mycket dålig mottagning, fick öppna dörren för att få hyfsad kontakt. Har ätit bättre frukost.

das Hotel ist gut für einen kurzen Aufenthalt. Es ist leider sehr hellhörig, aber die leute dort sind sehr freundlich und sprechen teilweise gut englisch. Es ist vom Hafen aus gut zu Fuß zu erreichen.

Extrem nettes Personal

Mussten für eine Nacht wg später Fähre in San Sebastian bleiben und Hotel hat uns so gut gefallen, dass wir für die Rückreise gleich wieder reserviert haben. Frühstück war problemlos nachbuchbar und es war von allem vorhanden, was man als Budget-Reisender erwarten konnte. Zwar war der Weg von der Fähre etwas weiter, als zu anderen Unterkünften, aber was heisst in San Sebastian schon weit... Zimmer sind zwar hellhörig, aber es gibt leider immer wieder Reisende, die in keinem Hotel rücksichtsvoll sind, und so turnten nachts noch einige fröhlich angetrunkene Gäste durch Flure. Wie auch schon andernorts beschrieben, sollte man nach ruhigen Zimmern fragen, nicht zur Hauptstrasse raus. Diese ist zwar auch klein, aber viel befahren morgens. Wen das nicht stört oder als Alternative ein Fenster zur Wand 14 Tage ertragen kann, ist dort auch für mehr als 1 Nacht gut bedient.

Clean hotel with friendly staff

Hotel Villa Gomera is very well situated close to shops, restaurants and the port. The reception staff are friendly and helpful and the rooms are clean and comfortable. The beds were comfortable, the shower worked and the water was hot.

Hotel familiar muy bien situado, con una condiciones muy adecuadas para pasar unos días en la isla. Trato exquisito por parte de los propietarios y resto de personal, haciendo que uno se sienta en casa. Excelentes recomendaciones sobre sitios que visitar, restaurantes, etc.
