The staff was fantastic. Great breakfast in a serene setting. Pictures suggest it is isolated on a hillside somewhere, not exactly the case. Great place though.

We had a brief stay here but the staff was very kind to us. Lovely property. Breakfast was delicious and the coffee was excellent. The only downside was the neighbor's dog, which they obviously don't control.

Casa Amanecer Bed & Breakfast is a beautiful property with a fabulous view and a very comfortable setting. The staff and the breakfast were fabulous. The only downside was a very slow internet connection and no television in the room.

Amazing host that made us feel right at home. The place is very well kept, with cozy and comfortable rooms and a good breakfast. It's a great place to stay fairly close to the airport, on the first or last night in CR. We have stayed there a few times and plan to stay again on our next visit.

We had a wonderfully amazing 4th stay at Casa Amanecer. We greatly appreciate the quaintness of this small and comfortable B&B. We use it as our stopover stay between coming from the southern provinces and heading to Guanacaste. The rooms are clean, the traditional breakfast is great and the service exceptional.

Great location that makes you feel right at home

Great location. You wake up to chirping birds and step out to have breakfast in the courtyard. Super friendly family. Beds were a little small.

Hidden gem

This was such a lovely place to start our Costa Rican roadtrip! Elena was such a wonderful host and we loved meeting her. The breakfast was delicious and the setting was really pretty. Thank you!

This is a beautiful place. After a week of travelling around Costa Rica, this was a quiet and restful place to prepare for our trip home. The birds and butterflies were very busy in the morning, and the view is very beautiful. It is located less than one hour from the San Jose airport, and the town of San Ramon has many options for dining. The hosts were excellent, and a delicious typical Costa Rican breakfast was provided, including perfect gallo pinto. I highly recommend Casa Amanecer.

The two Costa Rican ladies that were ttherewere incredible. I understand the owners are from Peru which is way cool. But neither one of them spoke an ounce of English. I was able to communicate with them via Google translate and they are both so very kind and sweet and welcoming. The listing says they have a spa but they have no spa. No TV in our room. But. The place is absolutely gorgeous. Beautiful views from the edge of their yard. Coming in and out could be very inconvenient. You pull up to the gate you reach through it put the key in the lock to unlock it then back your car down the drive because it's a big swinging gate. Then you pull in and do all the reverse to close it. Luckily she helped us as I'm handicapped. But I'm leaving at a higher review because I would definitely go back

Very friendly and helpful people. The breakfast was great, and they helped order in food for dinner. It’s tricky to find, but GPS helped. The rooms are small but comfortable. No hot water in the bathroom sink made shaving a no go.
