"The stay is about a 30 minute drive from LaFortuna, it is very remarkable with great views of volcano and just walking around, with the most friendly and helpful staff. They make planning excursions and transportation from the resort very easy, the restaurant bar and pool are fantastic. Staff made the whole trip even better, all friendly and helpful. 10/10 would recommend a stay"

"Tabacón is an incredible resort! The springs is much larger than you would expect, with many beautiful parts to find privacy and relaxation. The drinks are incredible and views are even better. We indulged in a couples volcanic mud massage- and it was the best massage ever! The spa is beautiful, peaceful and worth it! One thing to consider is that it is a 20minute ride to town, so you are pretty much committed to eating at the resort- which is not cheap. Each drink is $15 and meals are $20 ....

"Beautiful location! I have slept in jungles on 2 other continents but Arenal Oasis feels so alive and wild! It’s loud here. Not cars, or traffic but the tree frogs, howler monkeys, chirping insects, song birds. That’s sort of the point of this place, but if you need a quiet environment bring ear plugs to sleep!
