I do not speak any Spanish, but I have learned a few words since going to Costa Rica. The hostess saw me sitting outside of the room alone and invited me over for a snack and drinks. We sat mostly in silence for a while. Her dogs were very sweet and I gave them pats and rubs. It was a little awkward not really being able to talk, but we had a good laugh because laughter is the same in most languages. The facilities were amazing, clean, and travel was convenient. The bathrooms are spacious, the beds are comfortable and the rooms have air conditioning.

Clean and very spacious, with AC. This was the best value we've had in Costa Rica, with really spacious place, kind hosts and good internet.
If you have a rental car, very convenient location between the two volcano parks, but in a peaceful setting away from the busy towns.
Super grateful and relaxed.
