"Super affordable, clean, simple and spacious palapa-style room upstairs, 10 meters from the beach, with comfy queen size bed, private bathroom, and a partial sea view. Excellent location in the heart of town. Free beach loungers and sun shade provided. Cool, laidback staff. Amazing sound of the crashing waves lull you to sleep, while adjacent noisy bars and nightlife remind you you’re in Zipolite and add the fun of live music and local crowds. Def worth the extra couple bucks for this upper room with its own bath."

"We were very happy with the cleanliness of our room, and the housekeeping staff did a wonderful job. We also had the pleasure of meeting some very nice and friendly staff members, which made our stay more enjoyable. However, there were a few areas where the experience fell short. The hotel’s location made it difficult to get to restaurants and shopping, requiring a 35-minute taxi ride each way. Unfortunately, the taxi fees were also outrageously expensive, which added considerably to our expenses. We were also disappointed that the boutique hotel did not provide information or assistance with local package tours, so we had to arrange excursions through an outside travel group. Another area that could use improvement was breakfast service. Waiting 30–35 minutes for food in the morning was frustrating, especially considering the hotel was not particularly busy. Food and drinks should be served in a timely manner, while still being fresh and well prepared. On a positive note, there is a lovely beach just a five-minute walk away, perfect for sunbathing and relaxing. However, the waves were quite strong, making swimming difficult unless you are an experienced swimmer or surfer. We also discovered a wonderful non-vegan restaurant nearby with a beautiful ocean view, which was a highlight. Overall, we enjoyed certain aspects of our stay, especially the cleanliness, friendly staff, and beautiful surroundings."

"Amazing hotel. I stayed for eight nights at the end of October and the entire stay was stunning. The rooms are super chic, very well appointed with everything you could need for your stay. The bed was huge and very comfortable - I slept so well every night. The vibes are immaculate. Right on the beach, great music, nice food and drinks and resonably priced. Bonus was that I didn't get bitten once by a mosquito while at the hotel becuase it benefits from the sea breeze. Can't be said of hotels in town I visited off the beach. My room was on the ground floor right by the pool. Loved being able to hop a few steps from the pool to my room. Final note is the service, the staff were exceptional. Just the vibe you want, relaxed and low key but super friendly and attentive. When one server goes off shift they personally introduce you to the person who will be looking after you next. Definitely not the kind of service you get in Europe! Wouldn't stay anywhere eles when I come again."

"A beautiful hotel with incredible views. I fell in love with the pool at Casa Roni. Excellent customer service; Mayra recommended great dining options and helped us with everything we needed. It is the perfect place to relax and enjoy the views. I recommend this place 100%. Hermoso hotel, con vistas hermosas!! Ame la alberca de Casa Roni. El servico a cliente fue excelente, las recomendaciones de Mayra fueron perfectas, lugares donde comer, y nos ayudo en todo lo que necesitábamos. Las camas son super comodas y el diseno de las habitacines super lindas. Este lugar es pefecto para relajarse y disfrutar de las vistas. Lo recomiendo 100%"

"Nos hospedamos en Casa Rush después de haber revisado varias casas y hoteles de la zona. Con una excelente locación a múltiples playas y zonas turísticas (15 minutos de Zipolite, 30 mins de Mazunte, 1.5 hrs a Puerto Escondido y 4.5 hrs a Oaxaca capital), comedores locales con comida tradicional y local, aire acondicionado en cada habitación y excelentes precios, fue una excelente decisión. Lupita, parte del personal, nos dió un trato muy ameno e hizo que nos sintieramos como en casa. La comida que preparan ella y su mamá casa mañana estaba deliciosa. Mauricio, el gerente, también se aseguró durante nuestro viaje que todo estuviera bien y nos dió muy buenas recomendaciones para visitar y comer. Sin duda espero volver en nuestro próximo viaje a Oaxaca."
