"Kindness
The staff was so helpful and kind. People always say this but they are genuinely kind and thoughtful. Our room and our view was amazing. The pools are the perfect temperature. Many of the guests gathered at the end of the day in the jacuzzi to share what we did that day. It was so nice. The front desk scheduled our flights on Maya air, transportation as well as excursions in advance. Everything was seemless.
We will be coming back."
"This was a wonderful place to stay. I was by myself on this trip. I felt really save there. Staff was very helpful getting me to & from the hotel. I will definitely choose this place again."
"Staff was very friendly and the WiFi was great. The room was clean and spacious. I had the premium room with the ocean view and balcony. I had problems with the front door when I first checked in, they fixed it within the first hour after I noticed it. The one problem I did have was the bedroom had no black out curtains. The bright light came in at 5:15 am every morning. Breakfast was great."
"We had a wonderful experience at Reef Haven. The swim-up bar was delightful. The pools were amazing, lots of space to relax. The staff were wonderful, polite and accommodating."
"The pool was much bigger than it appeared on the website, and I was pleasantly surprised. The staff was very helpful and so nice. The two issues I had were that when we checked into the room, it seemed like they didn't freshen up the room before we got in. Things looked and felt a little "dusty" and not fresh. I also tried to book a rum tasting class and was told I needed two people to book. I've never heard of such a thing, and I don't think it's fair because it's 2026, and people solo-travel all of the time. Couldn't I book a $35 USD class solo? Weird and unfair. Otherwise, the food at the resort was amazing, and the drinks were ok too. I am also very happy with where my room was on the resort. I had direct access to the pool from my room and that was the best part of my stay!"
"The most beautiful and relaxing resort in San Pedro! The grounds are gorgeous, rooms clean and comfy, staff is very nice, helpful, fun, and accommodating. They picked us up and dropped us off at the airport by golfcart. We enjoyed the pool, rented our own golf cart for the week, ate at Pineapples several times - all were amazing!
Although we got a golf cart to explore all of Ambergris Caye, we could have walked most places from Ramon's fantastic location.
The wind pattern had caused a ton of sargassum to accumulate on the beaches, but Ramon's staff was diligent to remove it as quickly as possible. The beach was relatively clean the entire week (where at other resorts and restaurants, the sargassum just accumulated and caused stink and an eye sore).
We couldn't have asked for a better place to be. It was a fabulous vacation. Thank you!!!"
"The hotel was perfect for my stay. I enjoyed the room; it was a nice size, with a comfy bed, well supplied kitchen, sitting area and stunning views from the large balcony. The location was great and the staff were friendly and helpful. I'd definitely stay again!"
Hostels are a great way to stay for a lower cost, so you can save more for fun things to do. We've heard good things about this destination's natural setting, including its beaches and island views.
