"Excellent host, good communications and quick to reply to questions. Check-in and check out was easy and without fuss. Apartment has basic amenities but everything there functions. It is in need of some updating and unfortunately bedrooms are a little musty. Surrounding area is quiet and beautiful. We had two ground floor apartments and did have some noise from upstairs apartments. The price charged for peak holiday season and location did represent good value for money overall."

"We had a great time at this place. The room was spectacular and the views were some of the best on this entire trip. We would definitely come back. The only thing that we didn’t love was the menu at the restaurant is quite limited and there were not many things on the menu that appealed to us, as we were looking for more traditional Tuscan food. "The address of the hotel was wrong on the Hotels.com web site. After an anxious hour or so our host was kind enough to come and get us, we were on foot walking the Via Francigena and the additional 4 miles back would have been a killer. Our host arranged for a cab the next morning so we were back on schedule. Worth the cab expense to keep on schedule. Wonderful evening meal and a great hotel. I would visit it again."

"The property is beautiful, a bit remote but absolutely stunning views. I specifically booked a place with a restaurant only to find the restaurant was closed both nights we were there. The room was spacious and had everything we needed. I was looking forward to experiencing a homey feeling farm stay but didn’t really get that. If you are looking for a quiet place with beautiful views and don’t mind the remoteness, this is a great place. If the room next door is occupied, it can get a little crowded. I would definitely stay again, but I would be better prepared. UVA(the property dog) was great company while we were there."
