"Property was as described,-lovely with plenty of space and everything you needed and exceptionally clean. Paride was very happy to help and accommodate any requests. Thoughtful food items left in the cupboards as well as a delicious tiramasu which didn't last long! Trains into venice pretty much ran on time which was great. "We opted to stay in Padua instead of Venice as we wanted a more authenticate stay which is exactly what we got. The apartment is airy, clean and located in a lovely private courtyard. Our host Nicolo was excellent, meeting us on arrival and taking his time to give us recommendations of where to eat etc. We tried a number of his suggestions and all were brilliant. There were sand and dirt on the floor. The couch is old and broken. The walls were peeling and there were crumbles (asbestos?) in the second kitchen by the water heater, which hadn't been cleaned for awhile. We also only had one functioning shower, although there were 2 bathrooms; one of the showers did not drain at all!...
