"Massive bed, gorgeous views from the terrace, almost missed the mountains, a true not being able to see the woods for the trees moment. Excellent breakfast with loads if hummingbirds if youre lucky. The staff were very kind to lend us a corkscrew and glasses and let us drink our bottle of wine on the terrace in the evening. "

" The hotel is very elegant. The staff is very helpful. I needed ice a few times. They also were kind enough because they had room to let us come in a couple of hours early when we were dropped off. Breakfast was above average (order the pancakes ) and we had a good time nicely located."

"This is excellent small hotel near city center. Just no negatives at all. We stayed three nights and wished we could stay more. Restaurant and bar is on the roof. Cool at night but gas heaters make it comfortable. Good views in the morning at breakfast. Food is good, nice selection and staff are attentive. We take this opportunity to single out Nikole (sp?) at reception for helping us with a variety of questions and making us feel welcome. Good job Nikole !"

"I almost don't want to leave a review so as not to further expose this adorable little gem. We didn't know what to expect, but were headed to Arequipa for a 9 day business trip and needed something affordable that we can call home base that was close to everything as well as a convenient taxi/uber pickup spot to get us to various parts of town for work, and this fit every single bill! Ridiculously friendly and warm staff, great delicious fresh breakfast (sometimes even made to order), a lovely rooftop terrace and even a relaxing outdoor area with seating on the 2nd floor as well, all centered around an adorable quaint courtyard that serves as a meeting place, comfortable work place, or just a spot to kick back and read a book. It's right near the middle of the San Lazaro district, the oldest district in Arequipa, made up of narrow white cobblestone streets and volcanic rock buildings, all within minutes walking distance to several delicious eateries, breweries and coffee shops. The facilities are surprisingly quiet, very secure, and it made for our home away from home in all the best ways, and none of the worst lol, all the perfect price. Loved it and will certainly look for availability next time we're in town. Thanks so much to the wonderful staff for accommodating all our needs."
