"We stayed only one night at Lagarta Lodge to kick off our vacation in Nosara and I didn’t want to leave! The property is absolutely stunning with a very special view from high up looking out to the ocean, that other hotels in the area don’t have available to them. We did a biological reserve tour and a couples massage and they both were highlights of our entire trip. The food was also our top favorite meals. The staff is so attentive and kind, and easy to get in contact with instantly via WhatsApp. We really did feel like VIP. Would 1000% stay again and recommend anyone else to at least spend a couple of nights at Lagarta Lodge while in Nosara. "

"Gorgeous, isolated place with friendly staff and easy access to beautiful beaches. Prepare yourself for the drive in, which is on a dirt road with lots of holes. If you rent a car, get the insurance. Lots of restaurants nearby you can drive to or catch one of their mini-taxis. The free breakfast is delicious, and the views are awesome. The hotel design and architecture are definitely very different and fun. "
