"Great hotel close to everything and a good base camp for days at the Beach. Owner and manager Greg is great and accommodating. Bonus.. howler monkeys in the treees some mornings monkeying around. "

"Parking was easy and secure. Staff was friendly and helpful. I felt at home here. The restaurant was good. The property has small maintenance issues, like not all lights in rooms work, or some curtains are difficult to pull. But this is minor. I highly recommend these accommodations. "

"This is definitely a resort that caters to an older and less active clientele. Other than the pool there are no "activities" to speak of on the resort, other than tennis courts that are a 1/4 - 1/2 mile walk away from the main area. They were also short on pool chairs, so if you don't get there early you might not get one. The food was "good", but the options are very limited. Only 3 Lunch/Dinner restaurants and 1 Breakfast buffet. If you want food during the day you'll have to get it from the Pool Bar or flag someone down at the Main Bar. As for the bars, they don't open until 12pm and EVERYTHING shuts down promptly at 10pm. If you're looking for anything to do after that it had better be in town. The rooms were nice, but the water in the shower/tub/sink never got HOT and the room never really got cool enough to sleep comfortably. Overall, it was a very pretty resort, if not a little overpriced, and definitely for people at a slower pace."

"This is a delightful boutique hotel with rooms equipped with a standard fridge, microwave, stove burners. It includes all dining accouterments including pots and pans. Breakfast is delivered to your door with selections of your choice. The fresh fruit was delicious. There is an amazing restaurant across the street,Sofia’s, and you can also walk down the beach to food trucks. The beach is a surfer’s paradise and there is a surf school next door and the hotel rents surf boards at a reasonable price. Totally enjoyable, friendly people and we enjoyed it. Would go back!"

"This was the best hotel we stayed at in all of Costa Rica! Absolutely gorgeous property, beautiful pool, clean rooms, the most comfortable beds, and wonderful made to order breakfast. Geraldine, the breakfast waitress is a delight! She's so funny and personable despite the language barrier. We traveled with our 3 year old and we were delighted to find toys and children's books in the lovely sitting area. Such a big help for parents! I'm so happy we stayed here!"

"The layout of the property was nice. The food, was ok, buffet could have used some different options day to day. The cook and serving staff were awesome. Unfortunately the only thing I found that I didn’t like was the bar staff. Long waits for drinks because they were “busy” with the younger girls and they never stirred drinks after making them. Also were very stingy on the pours, I am used to free pours at an all inclusive and these staff were using jiggers to pour an ounce. Overall, the resort was what i was looking for. "

"The hotel is a very short walk to the main downtown area. Just far enough away to avoid the noise but close enough to be there in a few minutes. The pool is amazing! Staff is very helpful and courteous. The room was clean and air conditioned, and the beds were comfortable. "

"The location was awesome and we loved the property. It's central but our unit was set back and it felt like a little hidden oasis with the pool. We were there during spring break and all the white college kids were wild but they didn't bug us at all in this place. There was even a very sweet cat that hung out. The room itself was simple but filled our needs just fine "
